Overall Epic is a beautiful ship. And we were happy. Norweign is good about attention to detail on some things like xabin storage space and shower caddy space. But walking track is by employee smoking area, not enough pools vs passengers, tried to make reservations for dinner in dining rooms but they would not take them but allowed other passengers to make them.

See all of my other text entries. We were unfortunately routed to the Western Caribbean due to hurricane Irma. The ship's design left a lot to be desired.

I guess the only way to evaluate Norwegian is to compare it to my expereinces with Royal Carribean, Celebrity and Holland America. Sorry, but it doesn't measure up. I would rate it on a level of Carnival.

We had an outstanding time on the cruise. But we may never book with again as we learned that most, if not all, passengers paid much less than we did and got more (balconies, premium meals, etc.). We called United prior to sailing and inquired about a price guarantee but got nowhere since we had already paid in full. Lesson learned here.

great trip except for debarkation and service in osheanns. the seas were only rough two days. I would do it again especially at the price we got. ....

Wonderful cruise . Would advise to book before October sailings. Take comfort clothing and shoes. Be prepared for a large amount of knowledge and appreciation along with being somewhat overwhelmed. Take lots of photos, you will appreciate them when you catch your breath.

We really enjoyed the EPIC cruise. My son had previously sail this same itinerary and had highly recommended it. He was right!!! Everything was great. Food, drinks, entertainment and ports made this vacation awesome.

The ship itself is NOT great. It rocks more than other ships, but this particular itinerary is awesome. Just be aware that in several of the ports (as stated above) there is NOTHING WORTH SEEING UNLESS you take a shore excursion.

It's a fantastic ship- staff REALLY cares. Don't be daunted by the large size- you don't feel it feel crowded in common areas- plenty of places to seclude yourself!

Okay. I understand the ship was built in France, therefore, rooms are smaller. There were not enough trivia or other games during the day. I didn't like the fact that you had to pay for some activites--- bowling and the icebar. The staff was not very friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and would certainly take another one! We liked all of the ports that were visited. We did enjoy the Freestyle dining, but also missed the serviced associated with a set dining time and waitstaff that follows you (Disney).

I have been on many, many cruises and this was one of the most disappointing. It started with one of the ports we were looking forward to in France changing to one we were not interested in. When we boarded, we found a previous passenger's underwear in our bathroom, then there was a WiFi issue of the prepaid charge not going through, then an appetizer was not delivered at dinner the first night, cold appetizers were delivered in other restaurants, our unlimited internet went out Saturday night through Sunday and we were not compensated, and our steward was forgetful. I am a Gold member and got no perks at all - we weren't even invited to a cocktail party. It was nice to see the ports, but next time we go on a cruise, it will not be with NCL because of all the disappointments.

Overall, a great value indeed! Having the "drink package" was perfect as well as the "three specialty" restaurants. For the small amount extra, it was WELL WORTH IT!!!

This was a very nice cruise. Plenty to do. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My husband has a food allergy and the restaurant staff made every effort to accommodate him. Even allowing him to pre order meals so they could be specially prepared. The shows were of Broadway caliber. The lost a of call and available excursions were amazing!

Great vacation, Food was Good, Drinks excellecent, Ports Great, Did not rain not even one day. We have a wonderful time. Will look forward to going on another Cruise soon.

Norwegian cruises are great for everyone! Great food and entertainment. Many excursions to choose from though some are pricey. The staff are wonderful people especially the Filipinos!! They're just hard working and efficient people. I will recommend Norwegian Cruises to family and friends

I read a lot of reviews about this ship, the destination and the various aspects of this itinerary. many of them were negative so I had a guarded set of expectations. In nearly every aspect, the trip was better than I had imagined. This was a first cruise experience for us. That being said, I obviously have nothing to compare to. We had a great time. Boarding and deboarding were fine....Barcelona is a fantastic port, a beautiful city, and a fabulous place to spend time before and after a trip. the food was great....the sit down and upgrade dining experiences are vastly better than the buffet option.... but when you are anxious to get off the boat....instant food is tough to beat. We ate in every city we visited....that is part of the experience. My tips......AFT Balcony Cabins (no wind and better view), do your own day trips (use the shuttles they are available whenever they are needed), Pre-pay your gratuities. Buy a case of water in advance (water is a curious money pit and it is unexpected by most. Relax and take your time...you are on vacation. Stay out of the casino.

We planned the cruise in the middle of our vacation. Hence the cruise was very relaxing and enjoyable. We had visited Italy before the cruise and we stayed in Barcelona a few more days after the cruise. During the cruise, the seven days went by fast as we went on 5 excursions. Every port of call gives us a different taste of the local culture. The excursions are usually 4 to 5 hours leaving us time to come back to the ship for lunch and rest in the afternoon.

Would definitely go on another EPIC cruise... Everything about it was first class... our Steward was fantastic, the whole staff was attentive but did not swarm, Excellent Dining and the premium restaurants and premium wine/liquor package we had were great

This trip was well worth the effort. Maybe we could have had a little more downtime, because we are exhausted from having an excursion every day of the cruise except for first and second day
