Review summary

It's a fantastic ship- staff REALLY cares. Don't be daunted by the large size- you don't feel it feel crowded in common areas- plenty of places to seclude yourself!

Embarkation

As a loyalty rewards, we were entitled to priority boarding. We told the staff and were escorted to a shorter line. From there, we were on the ship in minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All food is cooked to perfection- better than home made-wide variety-so delicious whether you dine at the cafe on deck, or in one of the restaurants- made with love and care- fantastic. The staff serves with pride. The coffee is excellent.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The fitness center is large and modern. Hot tubs are usually sub-hot but most on the Epic were perfect, though not all hot. Pools very nice, clean and large. Enjoyed the water slides too!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The producion play on board was as good as a Broadway play and all the music around the ship was excellent- especially the Beatles show We did the escape room which was well done and amusing. All was very good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff friendly, cheerful and willing to go the extra mile for you.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was well planned and styled well- very easy to get around and you can't believe it's such a huge ship- never felt crowded even at full capacity...love the Epic

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Nice cabin- near to the Kids Club- you do hear moments of banging sounds when the kids are doing certain activities- but not bad at all. Room is on a dead end so there is no activity bustling past your door- one flight down from Garden Cafe- very convenient- a good room!!

Ship tip

Walk around first to orient yourself. See all the Pubs and music venues- check your daily guide carefully so you don't miss anything interesting to you.
