Review summary

Overall, had a really nice time on the ship. Enjoyed the different places there were to dine. There could have been more of a variety of entertainment. The staff did a good job. The wait staff and room stewards were always really on it.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
A little confusing, but did not take too long

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main Dining rooms and specialty venues had good food and ambiance; Breakfast/Lunch buffets got a little stale after a few days; There was really NO light beer choice & that was very disappointing being that drink package literature listed about 5 choices with premium package

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Visited walking track, and a bit disappointing; not that long, only on one side. Shopping on board was good. Had a good variety.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows were good; Entertainment was good. Not enough of a variety for entertainment for the amount of days on cruise. DJ music not very good, same tracks playing over and over.

Children's Programs

no kids

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
All room stewards and waitresses very cheery, friendly and accommodative. Some bar staff not as friendly, and hard to get a drink many times. Think they are frustrated because there were not enough bartenders.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Common areas well maintained and general ship layout okay. I would think such a large ship used for extended day cruises, should have at least one more floor dedicated to recreation. Also, very surprised at the liberal smoking policy. Smoking areas should be more contained

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
I would say the overall comfort of the cabin was very good, but not excellent. Very clean though, and great room upkeep. For that long of a cruise would prefer a larger room. Loved the balcony

Ship tip

You will have a good time, but there should be more entertainment and recreational space for a long cruise like that.
