Review summary

I personally will not go back to a Norwegian cruise, from the start the way they advertise and promote is deceiving, not clear, for example they said we had a package for internet and my husband didnt believe it and asked for an upgrade while I remained with their 'unlimited internet offer' which turned out to be a ruse as it only worked to open the Norwegian app and nothing else. The same happened with drinks ,we had the unlimited package and as we are non drinkers thought it was ok, but if we wanted water in abottle we were told we would have to upgrade very disappointing! The only thing they promised and did hold was that we had 2 restaurants included in our package which was true as we were not charged once we left. I will return to my favorite cruise line Celebrity and keep appreciating everything they do for us

Absolutley terrible, we waited on a line for 4 hours under blazing sun without any support from the cruise line until at the end they started to provide some water but they were totally hopeless at handling what seemed to be a customs problem

we still had to wait on a line as there were only 4 custom agents with the AI check out point for 4000 people

Amazing how it is the cruise lines fault when someone doesn’t even read the terms. NCL clearly states the internet included with free at sea is 150 minutes. Nowhere do they promise unlimited. They also offer free unlimited open bar, and it states “select spirits…a variety of beer and wine by the glass under $15, unlimited soft drinks and juices”. Nothing about water. If you looked further, you would see the premium plus package includes water, speciality coffee, fresh juice and energy drinks, which you can purchase as an upgrade.

The internet and drinks package you get with the free at sea promo is very clear about what’s included, did you read it properly? Plus the app is free to use for booking, checking your onboard balance etc and you can pay a one off fee to be able to message others using the app during the cruise, but I’m not sure why you’d think you had unlimited internet?

Sounds like research was not done, but then again, knowing how vague some of the lines’ descriptions are, I have to only guess.
