Great destinations on an ok ship. Book the Epic if it's going where you want to go. Don't book it for the ship!

Ship is very clean, some areas of the ship are a little awkward to navigate.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin is not for everyone. Shower and toilet have frosted sliding doors, no actual bathroom to speak of. There is a curtain you can close to separate the area frm the rest of the cabin. We didn't mind the setup, just would depend on who you are cruising with!
Ship tip
If the destinations are why you are booking NCL Epic, go for it! Don't book this cruise for the ship, you will be disappointed.
Sign up for the shuttle to take you to the center of town and just walk around! So much fun, so much to see! Shuttle is $15 per person, round trip. Hint: it's not listed on the shore excursions, offered on ship and shuttles run every 15 minutes.
Thanks for taking the time to submit your review. While I do like some ships better than others Epic was our 1st and 2nd cruise (eastern & western Caribbean itineraries) with NCL back in 2010. We enjoyed it so much that we will be sailing aboard Epic in December 2022. This time we will be sailing from NYC to San Juan with a few Caribbean ports in between!
I think the Epic staterooms work for couple on a European cruise with early morning excursions.
It does not work as well for caribbean cruises or lots of sea days.
