NCL EPIC European Review

Sail Date: June 23, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Suite

We stayed on the EPIC for a Med cruise the last week in June 2013.
We booked the Haven Suite 17027. Don't book this room. It is directly under a sundeck and staircase. Every morning at 6:30 AM we were awoken by the crew un-stacking lounge chairs and dragging them around the sun deck. At 10 PM the deck in closed, but not locked. Teenagers hang out there unsupervised to all hours of the morning running around and the noise keeps you up until 3 AM.
If you book the French restaurant, make sure the circus isn't going on above you. It is like you are eating in a bomb shelter is it is. Literally the tiles will fall off the ceiling while eating.

too far to travel from the port in such limited time. Always felt rushed and in fear that the ship would leave you stranded. Could use more time in each port.
Barcelona, Spain
Naples, Italy
Just go to Capri. Forget the rest.
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
Way to far to go in one day. Pickpockets everywhere
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
a waste of time. North Africans selling knock off purses and sunglasses every step of the way. Very agressive and abusive. Blocked our tour bus from leaving.
Marseille (Provence), France
Very nice port. Pople friendly. Lunch great.
Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands
A beautiful place.
