Fun! Great options on the ship for food and activities. The staff was amazing and friendly! Would recommend NCL to others but if they want pool options maybe try a different ship

Relatively disappointed in this cruise. When we booked, many of the port stops were 10-12 hours long. However, sometime before we boarding, NCL saw fit to reduce the time in port considerable. In addition, NCL decided to reorder our port stops to avoid the last day of the San Sebastian festival in San Juan, PR. While this was probably a good move as we have been told San Juan is crazy during the festival, the change forced our St. Thomas stop to be changed to a very early arrival and departure (0600-1400). I do not understand why they did not plan the itinerary this way from the beginning. The San Sebastian festival is scheduled well in advance. NCL should have done a better job scheduling their port stops to avoid last minute replans. In general, I feel NCL did a bait and switch where they enticed us to book with 12 hour port stops, then reduced the port stops when it was too late to cancel the cruise.

The Encore is a very nice ship, the entertainment is excellent, and the onboard food and service is good (but not as good as past NCL cruises). If you'd like to have clean hands before you eat at a specialty restaurant, be sure to carry your own hand sanitizer.

The cruise was great and I loved the Encore ship. All the staff in every area was polite and helpful. They put a smile on my face everyday. Thank you to the entire Encore staff during this cruise time January 7-14.

Overall, good cruise. Good ship and staff. Entertainment was okay. Main dining rooms were good, specialty restaurants were very good. Not much to do, other than beaches at the ports of call, other than St Thomas.

We were not satisfied with this BJ's agent, and we will ask for another agent in the future. She was very nice, but very unaccessible. Never does she answer the telephone. And, frequently we had to call back to leave another message, because she did not call us back in a timely fashion. We booked 3 rooms, and all of us had the same experience. Other than booking the cruise, she provided us with no other information or help, with such things as excursions, restaurants, entertainment, general procedures, etc.

Horrible! 5 hours to wait to get on ship. Suite was tiny. Missed port supposedly because of bad weather. But yet we saw other ships at their port. It was a nice day.

Very disappointing. We won't cruise on the Encore again and will probably take a break from NCL for a bit.

This is the first cruise that I have been on where so many stops and excursions were canceled. It was very disappointing.

We love cruising and have been on 22 cruises using 7 different cruise lines. All have been very good - except this one. It was way too crowded, too many passengers. Even a ship this large could not accommodate full capacity well.

Very disappointed. We have cruise with Norwegian 7 times but that was before covid. While other cruise lines like MSC, Carnival and Royal have step up their game, Norwegian seems to be stuck with the pandemic struggles.

The more I cruise with NCL, the more loyal I become. I love it when we see familiar faces from past cruises. Members of my party who had maybe 2 or 3 cruises under the belt were given royal treatment just like I was. They were impressed with the VIP treatment that they bought future cruise deposits!

Norwegian was my favorite cruise by far, from the bar/drinks/entertainment/rooms all of it was the most perfect vacation i have ever been on!

Living in FL we have done several Caribbean cruises. We now do them just for the getaway aspect. We are not as concerned about the excursions. The food was excellent and the balcony room was very accommodating. Because it was about 80-85% capacity, it did seem to be noisier than usual, particularly in the dining areas. The lack of entertainment options was probably the biggest disappointment.

We liked our cabin, casual dress for dinning was great, the biggest plus. Entertainment was OK, not great, staff were good and helpful.

Overwhelmed by the ambience of the ship. Elegant.

Overall we enjoyed ourselves. I have have personal had better service on other cruise ships. I personally just don’t think they were prepared for a full boat of people.

Overall a great cruise with fun excursions at each port. I would have preferred more entertainment options while on board. I was a little disappointed with the overall food quality this trip and didn't think all the speciality dinning restaurants were worth the uncharge. While my overall experience and interaction with staff was good, when we actually did have an issue I was very disappointed in how it was handled (simple problem took too long to address and no one seemed to have any authority so I never understood why they kept bringing in new parties who couldn't do anything).

Very bad cruise, 2 small pools for the amount of people, the FreeStyle is a disaster making queues to eat and poor quality food, night activities without variety and repeat the shows on a ship of 7 days, the internet expensive and poor connection and to conclude the staff serves you badly..... lost my money, my 7 days with family. YOU WILL NEVER SEE ME ON YOUR NORWEGIAN SHIPS AGAIN.

Was not impressed at all with the addition of Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica. We should have booked an excursion through the ship.....alas we ended up staying on the whip the whole day. Considering we were on a cruise for 20 days......would have been nice to have a slightly bigger selection for the 3 main dining rooms.
