Alaska was beautiful, the ship was wonderful. I enjoyed it so much I'm going again next year!
Embarkation

I walked from the Marriott across the ship at 10:15am, was through security and check in in about 15 minutes, and was onboard exploring by 11:15am
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

A far cry from my experience on the Joy! The food on Encore was delicious. Anything I didn't care for, was because I was trying something new and it just wasn't to my taste. I especially enjoyed Onda!
Onboard Activities

I had a spa pass and used it nearly every day. The spa itself was lovely, staff was friendly. It was clean and didn't smell overwhelmingly of chemicals. They kept the water and fruit stocked up, overall, a wonderful space. My issue was when I got a massage. I've never gotten one on a ship before, and while the massage and person doing it was nice, I didn't appreciate the upselling before and after. Also, when presented with the bill, it had a $39.80 service fee I didn't see mentioned anywhere. While some might not mind, I budget for everything and I hadn't for that.

Choir of Man was FANTASTIC!
Service and Staff

My room steward was great, he always greeted me, my room was always tidied, and he was very friendly. The waitstaff in the buffet and dining rooms were all very attentive and nice.
Ship Quality

The observation lounge is beautiful, any plans to make it smaller would be a huge mistake on NCL's part, especially if the Encore will continue to sail in Alaska. The whole ship felt roomy and easy to navigate. There were always people cleaning.
Cabin / Stateroom

I had a solo cabin and loved it. The "window" to the outside was so cool and I loved I could lay in bed and still enjoy the views! Often I would put the ship bow channel on and enjoy both lol
