Review summary

The excursions were either canceled or they TOTALLY did not live up to their description! I would never do a cruise again. 3 years of planning and a complete let down!

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Terrible! We had to take a Covid test and had previously been told we don't have to.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Specialty restaurants had very limited menus and some; the Mexican place, should NOT be a specialty. I couldn't even get a cookie on the ship. Buffets were par.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
We did the race cars when they discounted they price, but it's amazing they even take up that much space for something like that! Get more hot tubs - they are overcrowded!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shower were terrific! Entertainment was too.

Children's Programs

no kids came with us

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
All the women from the Philippines were unbelievably annoying. Besides making many mistakes, they sang their greetings. Whether it's good morning or have a nice day. You could tell they were obligated to greet everyone and it was not genuine or necessary. Just annoying. Tell them a simple hi would do and only with eye contact. So fake!!!

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Design did nothing for me at all, found a lot of it quite tacky, and lots of wasted space. The out of pocket dessert places were a complete waste. Offer up a free cookie and tea (especially if it's rainy) at teatime or something to better use the space. They were regularly empty. But the ship was very clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Bed was great, storage was OK. The cleanliness was fine. Get some hooks! If you want us to hang towels or have a place to dry clothing, hooks are an easy fix!!!

Ship tip

Go when the ship has half capacity. The crowds for a good seat or an exit for an excursion are a nightmare!

I don’t think cruising is for you. Disappointment happens when excursions or ports are cancelled but you have to try to make the best of it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maybe a different cruise line next time? I know for a fact Royal Caribbean has cookies available almost all day long! 😉

Thanks for the review. It sounds like cruising is probably not for you. Most people love it, but it’s not for everyone. It’s almost always better to book independent excursions rather than booking those through the ship. They usually are less crowded, last longer and are many times less expensive.

Wow, what a disaster you had. Most folks enjoy Alaska, maybe cruising isn't for you. Sorry the women sang to you and it was annoying. Some people are just too difficult to impress!

Really, no cookies?!!!!!!!! Sounds like maybe cruising isn’t your type of holiday. It’s not for everyone. If you do cruise again hope you enjoy your next one better.
