Cruise, as a whole, was great, as always, but I feel that small cuts have affected it. Even the comp latitudes dinner is no longer a full meal. Appetizer, soup/salad, entree, and dessert has become Appetizer OR soup/salad, entree, dessert. Seems minor, but it makes you feel just a little less special. Petty cuts for the people who have spent so much money to cruise with NCL.

Cruise was good. Dawn is an older boat, inside looks very good, outside showing it's age.We had a day in PORTLAND ENGLAND where we could not get alcohol until very late in the evening.NCL told me there was a 22000 fine to serve alcohol in port.We paid for alcohol the entire cruise, plus gratituies.We never received any credit for the tips. This also happened for about half the day in the port of South Hampton.

This cruise is for older travelers who want to see several ports and don't mind an older ship.

Big disappointment with the direction NCL is taking. Cutting services and “nichol/dimeing” for what used to be included. We’re dropping NCL for future cruises. It goes for their Oceania lone too.

Don’t feel like the value was there for the investment…would never cruise on Dawn again.

So this is my 3rd NCL cruise & it will be the last. NCL just wants $$$$$ from you, they nickel & dime you to no end, internet package is out of this world. They knew we would not dock in 2 ports because of rough seas & icebergs before we even left NYC, but only informed everyone the night before, no credit for port charges. The ships bands & singers are too loud.

As you can see there were many positives and we enjoyed our first transatlantic cruise very much. However, NCL has a lot of issues organizing some things and it’s overall casual culture is not for us. We will probably not cruise NCL again.

Sucked from start to finish! Don’t cruise Norwegian!!!!!!!!!!

I had a wonderful time. I liked the size of the ship. Food was really good and the staff was exceptional.

This was a 8th time girls trip as we do one every year. We had a great time and really got to spend time with all the great people taking care of us and everyone else on the ship. All though this ship was a little smaller then what we are use to. When you put us 3 girls together we could have fun in a tent. Very smooth sailing and a wonderful time we had. Thank you all for everything.

The staff was every bit as hospitable and professional as staff on the Disney cruises we've done. Food was nearly as good (less seafood, but still had some available). The room was smaller, but well-appointed with shelves and a closet and refrigerator.

Sadly, we feel this will be the last cruise on NCL Dawn..we want to try the newer ships like the Prima or Viva. This was not the relaxing, fun cruise we had anticipated. Although the cabin size is nice for the two of us..the main problem was our a/c didn't work and our cabin was so hot and steamy and def. not for the right reasons..we wanted to prop our cabin door open for air but staff told us we couldn't for security reasons. On the 6th day and after 4x trying to fix the a/c their solution was to close the outer cabin door to our extended lanai..it didn't help much. Sunday morning, the day we disembarked in Tampa, we woke to a cool room..finally..we have submitted with NCL and they need to call me back asap to make this right! It's been over 2 weeks post cruise and I am truly considering cancelling our next 2 cruises if they don't make this right.

Wouldn’t pick this ship to sail on again. Worst buffet ever experienced on 26 sailings. O’Sheehans is great. Ate ther a lot since buffet was so bad. Norwegian is really cutting corners on food in MDR and specialty restaurants.

The excursions were amazing! In Honduras we went to Gumbalina reservation where interacting with the monkeys and parrots were fascinating!

I was disappointed tho. I booked same cruise as my sister in law and was supposed to get one specialty dining and did not get it.

The cruise was great. Recent negative reviews had me concerned but all and all we had a fun cruise. This was our second cruise. Our first cruise was with Carnival. Comparing the two, and considering the ship size was same, Carnival Pride had 3 pools where the Dawn only had 1. The Dawn was cleaner and newer than the Pride. Both had excellent service but when we cruised the Pride 5 years ago, they still turned down the room at night. The Dawn did not, atleast our room steward did not. I would cruise both Norwegian and on the Dawn again but I want to continue to explore other cruise lines.

Great trip on a smaller older ship. Staff and food were all excellent.

I'm quite disappointed in this cruise experience. I've cruised multiple times before, and would describe myself as a cruise-lover. I took someone with me on this cruise who had never cruised before, and I so wanted him to love it as much as I do. Instead, I found myself saying "it's not normally like this" over and over. From the long waits to the mediocre food, it was just not the wonderful experience I have had on prior cruises, and I started worrying about whether I would be able to get my guest to ever go on a cruise again. The pluses--it was warm, sunny, and the water and beaches were beautiful. But we can get that by traveling to a destination without dealing with the disappointments we experienced on this cruise ship. I hope I can get him to try again, but if so, it will probably be on a different cruise line.

I have never been on a Carnival cruise but I think this trip may have been the closest to it. With an open bar and a lot of college kids it was essentially Spring Break on the high seas. It was common to see toilets near the pool I flushed and filled with vomit. People drank from morning until night. There was almost a fist fight before a comedy show in the packed theater. Although I liked that people on the ship were friendly, happy and fun-loving it was too much of a frat party for my liking. If I wanted a drunk fest I would have booked a 3 day cruise with Carnival.

This was an excellent cruise. I would definitely go on the Dawn and sail this same itinerary again
