Review summary

We was extremely disappointed in the staff at the customer service desk. I visit them three times and called once. Our room was below the kitchen and extremely noisy, had to listen to carts being pushed across the floor and the sound of things being dropped, we were across the hall from the staffs dining room in which we heard the door opening and shutting at night and also early morning. We had a joining room that had a small child that screamed every day at nap time and every night at bedtime. I explained my concerns about the noise to the desk and they were not apologetic at all. VERY VERY Disappointed in how this was handle from NWC staff. However they did send a bottle of wine and strawberries to the room, this gift was not going to help AT ALL with the amount of noise we had to deal with.

Main dining room I would give a 3. Buffets I would give a 1. Food was never hot, was dry at times, not a variety of choices compare to other ships. Drinks were to expensive.

I like that there was plenty of storage space. Room was also clean. Getting around the bed was a little difficult with the extra bed on the wall.

NCL is a great cruise line. Never had a bad experience. Absolutely have to do your research for your cabin. Expensive drinks you should have gotten the alcohol package well worth it.

What did you really expect customer service to do about the noise? They were probably full. Your room was your room. Did you want them to shut down the kitchen?

Definitely research look at the deck plans and get a sense of where things are do you can pick what may be a quite cabin. We always do this and in the 4 cruises we have been on never disappointed because of noise. Love NCL

NCL is a a great cruise line. We've been on 5 cruises with them and I am planning to book at least 2 more in the coming year. I always research my cabins, when I book I always check the cabin location and what's on the decks above and below.

So sorry the experience was bad. We made the mistake on the Carnival Triumph of being directly over the Casino...our room smelled like smoke the whole cruise. Rooky mistake. Now we research our ship(s) and hand select our cabin(s). Don't give up on cruising. Reach out if you need help next time. NCL is a good Cruise line.
