Fantastic Cruise, would highly recommend. This was our 11 cruise with NCL and I can't wait until our next cruise next January.
Embarkation

Got there around 2:30 and walked right up to the desk as there was no one else in the terminal. It was the fastes Embarkation I have ever done.

Ate mostly at the Buffets and found them to have a great selection of items and there was always something that I wanted to eat. Ate @ Cagney's and had a fantastic steak, ate @ La Cucinca and had another fantastic steak. Ate twice @ Teppenyaki, always love this place, great food and entertainment. We also ate 3 times @ Bamboo for Asian Food and it was very good also.

This is a must if you haven't gone. We went twice during our cruise and it was well worth the money for the entertainment and for the food, which is fantastic!!!!
Bamboo Asian Restaurant

Great food, great service. Even though it is a complimentary restaurant you need to make a reservation. We ate here 3 times during our cruise and were very satisfied.
Cagney's Steakhouse

Great venue, service was excellent and the steak was very good. The Steak was cooked to order and served as it should be, still hot. I have eaten @ Cagney's on most of my cruises and found the food very good.

Entertainment

Went to most of the shows and had a good time. The Magic show as very good, some of the tricks were amazing, I would love to know how they are done. The production show was also very good and kept you on the edge of your seat through the whole show.
Children's Programs
No Kids with us on this trip.
Service and Staff

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room steward, Arif, was very attentive and anytime we asked for him to do something it was done in a speedy fashion. Every day we left the cabin and upon our return it was all cleaned up and supplies restocked and each night the turn down and towel animal made my wife happy. Jinwith, one of the Bar staff in the Java Cafe, knew what I was ordering before I even ordered and was already working on it when he saw me coming, this was very nice and appreciated.
Ship Quality

I sailed on the Dawn back in 2010 and found the ship in very nice shape and didn't notice anything that would need correction. Rest Rooms throughout the ship were always spotless!!!!
Cabin / Stateroom

We always book an inside room because it is very dark and great for sleeping. This room was within a short walk of the elevators and stairs and was very easy to access being mid ship.
We arrived the day before departure and they were celebrating "Three Kings Day" and Old San Juan was packed. It was interesting to do a little "People Watching" that night. We walked all over Old San Juan and found it to be very quaint. Still some power lines down and some damage from the Hurricane but overall had a nice time.
Took the bus downtown to walk and shop, went into some small shops off the main corridors and enjoyed that alot. One little silver shop the staff was very friendly and helpful. Did get hit by a scammer right after we got off the bus handing out some sort of raffle ticket. Guess what? We had won the "Big" prize and would need to come with them over to their office for the payout. We got there and we were expected to sit and listen to a 30 minute presentation on something, we told them that we wouldn't do that and were escorted out of the office.
I had been to Barbados in 2010 and was wanting to get back as we had taken the Concorde excursion previously and didn't get a chance to see much of anything else back then. Went to Mount Gay Rum and took their tour, which was interesting as they say they are the first Rum Distillery.
This was my first time to this port and we took a taxi tour, which gave us little feel for the area and got us some fantastic pictures. The traffic in this town is insane as the ship comes in right in the middle of town and the little roads are not built to handle this kind of traffic. The main road right outside the port entrance was bumper to bumper all day long, horns honking and the like.
Had been to this port before and just walked around the city a bit to check it out. We had taken the train excursion prior and would highly recommend that one, very neat and fantastic scenry.
Took the City Tour that dropped us off @ the Airport. We got started late so some of the tour was cut off but the rest of it was very interesting. Saw the New York Yankees Spring Training Facility along with Steinbrenner Park where they play their games. That park is a miniture replica of their home park in New York.
This was the first time coming into Tampa for this season and the Disembarkation was a total Cluster. We were about an hour late getting off the ship and the lines were unreal trying to get through customs. As we were waiting to get on the elevator taking us down to Customs one of the luggage racks coming off the ship bounced off the forklift and into the bay, luggage and all. Just real glad my bag wasn't one in the water!!!!
