Our flight arrived in San Juan about 3 pm and we boarded the ship about 3:30, hungry and tired. All services and dining options were closed due to the mandatory drill at 4:30. The ship didn't leave port until 9 pm and passengers only had to be on board by 7 pm. We don't understand why the mandatory drill was done when all passengers weren't on board, and inconvenienced us as we were not able to dine after being in flight and airports since 4 in the morning.

All dining options were closed also which we aggravating. The ship wasn't leaving port until 9 PM. I don't understand why the mandatory drill was at 4:30 when passengers were still boarding.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
We were unable to feel any air movement in our cabin even when we put the thermostat on the coolest setting. It was a bit uncomfortable, and was reported with no resolution. Also the temperature of the water in the shower was constantly changing on it's own. This was reported also with no resolution. The food was not as good in the buffet as it has been on other ships. Dinner at Cagney's was excellent. Dinner at Moderno was not good.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our balcony stateroom was nice, but a little crowded
We always arrive 1st least a day early and book a room somewhere close to port. Much more relaxing and you don't have to worry about flight delays. Try it next time. It's worth the extra dough.
