Review summary

Fantastic itinerary, excellent crew, horrible design of boat. Cigar and cigarette smoke made many places off limits. Especially when windy. Will not cruise on Dawn ever again.

I would have given this a five for cleanliness however the design is horrible. Dawn caters to smokers! Cigar room and casino made three of the restaurants off limits to us as non smokers. Smoke smell was so very strong because the cigar and cigarette smoke drifted down the hallway from the casino and upstairs. As did the cigar room. Bamboo, la cucina, and le bistro all impacted. And I’m not talking lightly! 1/2 the pool area is all smoking so we couldn’t sit at the topside bar or sit and eat in front of pool. Horrible smell. Also the upper level belini bar is all smoking. Makes the entire upper area off limits on that side of ship.
