I won't sail NCL again. I thought I had paid more for a step up from RCL and CCL, but my experience with food and crowds ranked it with CCL. They just didn't give me a better product.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Fast embarkation, but we arrived very early.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
With exception to Le Bistro and Cagney's, food was awful. Bland. Every day chicken, fish, beef on the buffet cooked in an oven with bland flavor. Nothing colorful or flavored. Breakfast was exactly the same every single day. Buffet so crowded you couldn't even hear yourself talk. Attendants super friendly there, but food awful. Crowd awful. Almost seemed overbooked.
Le Bistro
5 out of 5
Best place we ate all week. Great service and great food.
Onboard Activities

Bingo seems fake. It's computerized and seems to know when someone wins, so doesn't seem to be by "chance" or "luck" Costs way too much money and advertises "$3000 jackpot" but only if you black out in 47 balls. Just not what we've experienced elsewhere. Otherwise, the ship was completely full of drunks passed out around the pool on all the furniture. Not fun.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Entertainers were great. Comedy, magic, and Elements. Wonderful.
Children's Programs
No children.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Most of the staff was good. We had to ask for towels, ask for beach towels from our steward. Things the people with us didn't have to ask for.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
We got lost all week. Never figured out the quirks in the layout. Our balcony was filthy, like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Always work being done on the ship, replacing windows and laying tile.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
Had a mini suite. Loved the room. But the buffet was above us. So loud all the time.
Ship tip
Watch what elevators you get in. Some don't go to all floors. Weird.
Went through 5 hotels. One even called us to confirm our stay while we were on our way on flights. Got there and were sent away. Only accepting government employees. Were gouged for a room elsewhere.
