Review summary

As was stated earlier....NCL was running a ZOO !!! We are going to contact NCL and let them know (by the way they have heard from Hundreds of Long time Customers) of a very disappointing cruise.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
We took the cruise even though Puerto Rico had been hit by a Hurricane. We made do to get onto the ship. The cruiseline was confident that we would have a normal Embarkation.

Speciality dinner is the only way to go......and it was our only saving grace in cutting out the noisy crowd of people.

Ship tip

The one piece of advice that i would have checked before we decided to take the cruise was to asked how did NCL handle all the cancellations because of the hurricane and who bought the discounted tickets. We had on the cruise for that week 60% puerto Ricans.....it was a mad house. Kids running around, loud boisterous people. It was out of control. We scheduled an appointment with the Hotel Director and they were struggling to provide what you and I would expect from an NCL cruise....This was not that cruise!!!

Disembarkation

Felt like we were in a cattle line......It was not the fault of NCL. Puerto Rico was not set up for a normal Disembarkation because of the storm damage. As was stated earlier

Our experiences with Dawn started this time last year and we had nothing but praise for the entire crew! We did not sail after any hurricane damage but we were in the Western Caribbean at New Years and had a great time!

I just got off the Dawn embarkation & debarkation were swift , 2nd time on Dawn & I like it’s smaller size. They did sell a lot of last minute cabins to locals from San Juan which did make garden cafe busy & noisy but I did most my dining in specialty restaurants as I did on Dawn last year from New Orleans and they are fantastic. If you are a cigar smoker there cigar lounge on mid deck 6 is very nice & has bar & lounge located next to it which opens in evenings & staff wait on you in the cigar lounge, bistro also next to it. All in all NCL have to fill the ship & if people don’t support the islands by going then what option do they have.

Was debarkation the only reason for the zoo comment or were there other issues? Please expand, I'm going on this in 3 weeks I'd like to have a heads up,

Couldn’t have been worse than the Gators performance!

What were the specific problems?

It couldn't have been that bad if you gave it 4 stars.
