Review summary

There were multiple family reunions some things were so crowded it was impossible to participate in, lines for the buffet was hectic, kids running through areas they shouldn't be running through. Unfriendly uncooperative staff. Paying everyday gratuities yet being charge gratuity every time I buy a drink or order room service on top of what you've already paid. Just not happy this time around. I expected more Norwegian.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The food was flavorless, repetetive, they used leftovers and made new dishes the next day. The staff was less than friendly barely said hello if they did at all, looked as if they didn't want to be there nor do their job. If they needed to get somewhere they would run you down not say excuse me instead of letting the guests proceed first.

There was no supervision at the kids pool. And in fairness, signs posted says "no lifeguards on duty," fine. But people supervise your children. My nephew was injured because they weren't paying attention to what their children are doing. They were walking up the slide backwards climbing up the dinosaur holding up the line so that they will be a polyp at the end of the slide which is where my nephew was injured twice.

Children's Programs

The arcade had several broken machines, when we wontickets from one particular game, the tickets never came out, so we called matinence to fix it. That guy had an attitude.

Service and Staff

If there's like customer service is non-existent these days. I really expect a lot from this cruise and especially from Norwegian Cruise Line because I've been on prior Norwegian cruise that was excellent. Everything from the ship to the food to the staff was excellent. But this time around I don't know what it was maybe they were overworked because the ship was overbooked at least full to capacity but my experience this time with the staff was not good. They were not friendly most of them couldn't answer questions if you ask them something.

Walls were paper thin, could hear neighbors plainly, voices not raised.

I’ve never had anything like any of this when we gratefully enjoyed ourselves. :)

Much like the company I work for, I end up paying more for less as time goes on. Unfortunately they will only give as much as they have to.....and all the cruise lines keep close tabs on each other.

Cruise lines definitely aren't what they used to be. I'm not sure if it's budget cuts due to the competitiveness of having so many ships on the seas today or what. I still manage to have the best of time, though. At which port did your cruise embark?
