My tip would be to get the 2 or 3 day bus/ferry passes. They get you all over the island for WAY cheaper than taxis or the NCL excursions that just take you to a beach and make you go back after a short time. With being at the pier for 3 days it allows you to see multiple things / enjoy the island!

To big and not well laid out. The focus seems to be on dining options that cost extra. Free dining areas are small. We tried to make reservations for our group of 7 and they said we didn't need them. We got to the dining room and there was a 45 min wait. We ended up going to the cafe. ;(

Adult pool is small. Over crowded! Children's area was nice but their pool is only 4 feet deep. Where do the teenagers swim? THEY CAN'T!!!!!!!!!!! They cannot go into the adult pool and do not want to swim with 5 year olds. POOR PLANNING NORWEIGAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be wary of price increases in some of the games such as KeyMaster. Now $2. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. She is a large ship.

Dont buy the unlimited drink package. Reserve your seat by the pool before 7AM. Nobody checks how long you leave your towels on a chair.

The kids were busy, swimming at the pool, video game room, movies but I also recommend taking the buses to the beach. It is a beautiful experience don' t waste your time in the shops. The cruise also has nice souvenirs before you finish your trip

Previously only cruised on Carnival and our friends had been on Breakaway before and raved about it. The ship was wonderful, enterainment very good but our only complaint is the ship staff should have some control over children's behavior. So many small children on the ship.

Too big !! Not enough staff to oversee all that happens when too many people are put together looking out for just themselves.
