It was my first cruise. I do not have anything to compare but had a great time. Cabin was kept spotless. Crew was incredibly helpful and polite. Ports were beautiful. was kept informed and guided to excursions. Nothing Negative to report.

This cruise is more about being on the ship than your ports of call. Most guests seemed okay with that, but think we were the only non drinkers on the ship! We did literally book two days before sailing and didn't research it enough, so that's on us.

Our 28th cruise....we took two of our daughters and all had a wonderful time! Thanks

Excellent cruise with the best food that you can experience. The comedy and some of the entertainment on this cruise was awesome.

U would not do this itinerary again, not what I expected .

The food I’ve never tasted better, the staff where so friendly and very informative, the ship was clean and sleek , so impressed, now my whole family wants to come next year with us

Perfectly calm seas, very warm weather. Great entertainment, especially Chanti Leone in Syd’s. Unlimited Beverages Package a good thing to have as the barkeeps pour lightly. Ratings for some ports as 1 star not intended. Review would not accept “did not visit” check off.

The islands and shore excursions were very good. The cruise ship itself was too large and too crowded for our tastes.

The embarkation process was slow and tedious. I recommend all information including a pictures of travellers uploaded on line to avoid this long wait. Also the check in system needs a over haul as it was slow and having issues while we were checking in. Unpleasant check in process compared to other cruise lines .

Cruise was fine. Boarding and disembarking was HORRENDOUS. Was promised onboard credit from WORLD TRAVEL HOLDINGS which was not honored by Norwegian because it could not be confirmed. Have been unable to contact Jamel Whitten, agent who booked our cruise for clarification, although we've made many attempts to contact him both before and after the cruise. TOTALLY FRUSTRATED BY LACK OF RESPONSE.

Good service, great staff, horrible disembarking experience

Not in love with breakaway. Food seemed more limited and the service was not as attentive as previous cruises with Norweigen. Decor was also less inviting. Cruise however was nice. We did all of the things we want to do on vacation.

From sailing 4 hours late to every one getting the flu and colds 5 days into the cruise we didn’t have a great time. Then to top it off we had a medical emergency that diverted the ship 5 hours west then decided it didn’t need to divert . Then getting to New York in rough seas then another ship had a man overboard that held us up for another couple hours. We where to dock at 10 am Saturday but ended up docking till 10 pm. My biggest problem was lack of Communication from the captain and lack of help to us that have transportation picking us up at the porch and those who had flights to their state .we where on our own to change our plans home at additional exprnce. So had to pay out of pocket for change of traveling plans and some hotel rooms over nite. And if you didn’t know rooms in New York are not cheat . I for one plus our 10 other members of our group will never cruise with NCL

Great cruise. Arvin & Emily, Manhattan band were fantastic. Cirque & Rock of Ages fantastic. Gym & thermal spa excellent. Bistro, la cucuina, cafe, manhattan restaurant excellent. Dan Dan Cruise director excellent. 5 stars. Thank you NCL. Leo Knapp is my adviser- genius.

3 days of the cruise embarking and replaning the debarking should not define the rest of a wonderful experience on the ship.

Way too many problems on this ship with the service and information provided. See all the my comments about the various aspects in the other sections of this review. It is quite likely that I will never sail on an NCL ship again, nor out of New York City.

No more NCL for us. Always felt like we were getting "nickel and dimed" for everything

I noted that all staff we encountered were very friendly, professional, and efficient. Made the cruise pleasant.

Very disorganized ship with very little info available. Daily news letter regularly included inaccurate info. Had to make trips to reception to correct erroneous charges. Long waits in understaffed restaurants with under trained wait staff. Many times part of our order was either lost or given to someone else. Spent more than 2-1/2 hours in Italian Specialty Restaurant because waiter forgot to turn in our order. The list could go on.

The impact of experience sets the attitude on a ship - we had an awkward start to this cruise and joined angry Baltic passengers which se the tone of the entire 14 days. There were any unhappy people and I was glad to disembark. I have friends who were on the same ship in August and found it wonderful. I found the endless lines daunting especially since there were reservations- I soon discovered that if you were not in that line- you only got a single bad seat. I would like to experience this same ship in the Caribbean just to see the difference. I would suggest it those with kids because there was lots of things for them but because this was a TA the average age was 63 and very few children.
