Review summary

From sailing 4 hours late to every one getting the flu and colds 5 days into the cruise we didn’t have a great time. Then to top it off we had a medical emergency that diverted the ship 5 hours west then decided it didn’t need to divert . Then getting to New York in rough seas then another ship had a man overboard that held us up for another couple hours. We where to dock at 10 am Saturday but ended up docking till 10 pm. My biggest problem was lack of Communication from the captain and lack of help to us that have transportation picking us up at the porch and those who had flights to their state .we where on our own to change our plans home at additional exprnce. So had to pay out of pocket for change of traveling plans and some hotel rooms over nite. And if you didn’t know rooms in New York are not cheat . I for one plus our 10 other members of our group will never cruise with NCL

Also no credit offered for the inconvenience. Not sure if you contact NCL on an individual basis if they would offer anything.

I was also on that ship and agree that the communication should have been better. Other than the delays we had a great cruise. Purchased the speciality dining package which I feel we really didn't need. Ate my other dinners in the Manhattan room and was very pleased with the food and wait staff Christopher and Christina. The entertainment and bars were also great.

Those things are out of the control of NCL. Except for communication. Did they not offer you a credit or discount on a future cruise?
