Being this was our first cruise, It was an awesome experience. We were a total group of 10. My family of 4, brothers family of 4, and my inlaws. We all had a blast. We had 4 teenagers in our group 1-13 year old, 2-15 year olds and a 16 year old. They all had a blast. Not once did we hear an "Im bored" or "theres nothing to do". They all seemed to be fine with "unplugging" and were able to entertain themselves. The variety of food options included was great. We ate at all 4 of the options. We also did the Cirque dinner show and had dinner at Cagney's Steakhouse. My family of 4 all had so much fun we are already booking our next cruise. The kids want to go with Norwegian again.

WE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR XMAS TRIP AND WE WERE SO DISAPPOITED . AFTER THIS CRUISE, WE WILL NOT TAKE ANY MORE OF NCL. WE SPOKE TO MANY OTHER PASSENGERS ON THE CRUISE AND ALL SAID THE SAME ITS A SHAME FOR NCL TO TREATED CUSTOMERS THE WAY THEY DID. THEY SHOULD NOT OVERBOOKED (GREED) AND UNDERSTAFF (EXCUSES) WE CALLED THE FRONT DESK THREE TIMES FOR PLUMBING ISSUE AND THEY HANGUP ON US ALL 3 TIMES AFTER 15 MINUTES WAITED . HORRIBLE IS THE ONLY WORD I CAN TELL YOU THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER CRUISE LINES THAT WORTH SPENDING.

This is a large ship and it seemed like a cattle car to me. The staff was very nice, but the architect's design was terrible in my estimation.

Okay experience, not wonderful because of the size of the crowds. I really prefer the smaller ships. They have fewer options on board but smaller crowds, and it is easier to get around and take care of your business or activities, and much easier to find parking.

I would recommend Norwegian. This was our first cruise and it was relaxing with something to do everyday or you could just relax. Cabin crew kept our room clean and were very hospitable. Great experience we hope to take another cruise soon!

Overall, this was not one of the better cruises. I don't know if I will cruise with Norwegian again. There were too many little things going wrong and not enough good things going right. It was just mediocre. The ports that were allowed to get off the ship and venture to were nice especially Jamaica. I think I will stick with Royal Carribean and Carnival cruiselines.

The food was not good at all it was the same thing and it was cold the night that it was new Orleans night the dirty rice was bad that was not dirty rice I saw too service playing they was throwing a dinner roll at each other it was on the left side if you are coming from the rooms and the right side if you come from the pool

We enjoy the freestyle atmosphere- Choosing when/where to eat- selections are plentiful. We love our balcony-- would be great to have at least one free delivery of breakfast to the balcony. We would like a bit more robust TV-- a few more movies and movie channels Movies + music channels as there were none. The excursion desk should be open more often- we booked another cruise but I had questions -- it was a good thing I had done as much research as I did to feel comfortable booking another cruise. Inside tour of the ship was terrific- I may have missed it on other ships but we thought it was great but would have liked to see engine room/ bridge - Haven too. We are back on the Jewel again in May for Alaska -- I will be sure to look for a ship tour on that cruise as well.

Won't be cruising on Norwegian again. Food was inferior to other cruise lines as was entertainment.

To many people , had to wait in line for everything

only problem was credit card company thinking it was not me

I have been on about 20 cruises this is the worst cruise I have ever had,food was terrible all the better food was in specialty restaurant, they nickel and dime you to death I’ll never go on a Norwegian ship again .

The Breakaway is a bit larger than our taste. Will choose a smaller ship in future.

The cruise was okay. Nothing blew us away. Service was very poor in the MDR and drink service throughout the ship was very poor. The activites seemed to be few and far between.

Overall great cruise, just too many passengers for us. The crew was excellent and ship its self is great.

Nice trip. A little crowded on the ship. I think I prefer the smaller ships that have less space dedicated to kids.

The poorest of my seven cruises for reasons noted above. I have sailed on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and previously on Norwegian. The video game room and associated cost plus the extra pay for shows left a bad taste in my mouth. Staff were unable to correct the associated problems even though they were informed the charges were made by an underage special needs child.

We had a great time overall. I just feel that, with this being the most expensive of our 4 cruises, things should have gone a lot smoother than they did. Maybe they were understaffed or undertrained. Maybe with it being their second sailing from a new port. I don't know, but the service, or lack thereof, was very poor. We both agreed by the second day of our trip that we would be returning to the other cruise brand were have experienced with our first 3 trips.

This was my first cruise and I really enjoyed it. The ports of call were great and we went snorkeling for the first time and had a wonderful experience. I though the prices were fair and the food options were varied and yummy. It was a mix of all ages and groups of people on the cruise. In the future, I'd pack more evening clothes (it got colder than I thought it would) and bring as many swimsuits as you can. So many pools/hot tubs/etc.
