Look a little further and find a different cruise, There are plenty of wonderful cruise lines/ships out there. I will avoid "Costa line" and "Norwegian line" in the future. based on my many cruise experiences.

Very enjoyable but as a couple without kids with us there are better options. We knew this when we booked and chose because it was going to areas we wanted to visit. The specialty restraints are wonderful but be careful with your beverage packages as despite saying all inclusive/premium they don’t include basis coffee even in main dining rooms and at $5 for a pathetic cappuccino that is very disappointing.

Definitely doing again. Norwegian definitely set the pedestal pretty high for other cruise lines. Will definitely plan a family vacation with them, and another anniversary with my baby. The BEST couple vacation we could ever ask for, we both felt rested and renewed coming back to work.

The cruise was fun but we felt nickeled and dimed at times. The drink package we had did not cover all types of drinks so we found ourselves paying more or settling for something different. The Cruise Director Staff was INCREDIBLE!!!! They were so much fun and very entertaining. We did not get involved in the crazy pool stuff but the games and skits etc. were very funny and well done. They made the cruise what it was for us. They were GREAT.

If you seen the movies Titanic you will understand! A 25% of the ship is set a side for the rich only! Including the largest pool on the ship! Back to the early 1900'S!

Not happy I didn't get the packages I was told I would get costed me over 800 in drinks and I barely had any as drinks are like 16.00 a drink and worst part I was supposed to get free unlited drinks and as soon as I purchased my trip suddenly no one from travel company can help or answer emails

It was a nice experience but I think we overpaid for what we got in return. I have cuised with another cruiseline for the same length of time and paid half the price and had a comparable/ better experience.

Excellent cruise room was perfect elevator was close. Food excellent everything was good

we book again after traveling on the Dawn, this trip turn bad after dinner at the manhattan rest, We were seated for 15 minutes and had to ask for a wait staff to take our order, fried fish was always over cooked, our Nassau trip was sent to a Cay a HOT MESS, getting on the Island took two and a half hours after we were giving a time to be there with a line around the ship Nicole was rude as hell, we got on the Island within half an hour got back on the ship, flies all over the food, no place to set and eat over crowed or you could set in the sun and bake, really nothing to do there if you don't want to swim, getting of the ship Sunday Oh LORD another hot mess, three hours with self assist, we bout four package on day 2 now what to do?

My adult daughter and I are experienced cruisers--over 30 cruises. Consequently, we were extremely disappointed in the Breakaway-especially because the Getaway was so fabulous. We did read the reviews before we selected our ship but could not believe that things could be that bad. It was worse. Customer service was so lacking on this ship that everyone (not an overstatement!) complained about it. It was pretty obvious that no one was watching the store nor gave a damn about the issues. Some first-time cruisers we met said they would never cruise again. The ship wasn't dirty, except for the public bathrooms which were always filthy, but it wasn't immaculate either. The issues we, and our fellow passengers, experienced could be easily fixed IF attention was paid to them. Clearly, this was not a priority on the Breakaway and it was obvious. Most obvious, there was not enough help anywhere on the ship. Every area appeared to be short staffed. That's probably why everyone was so grumpy. We will not sale on NCL again.

Not impressed with this cruise compared to other NCL cruises I have taken. Specialty restaurants sold out when we boarded ship causing us to miss 1 per paid meal. Entertainment was rescheduled after being pre booked. Poorly done.

Will think hard about going on another cruise. With the expense cost in mind I could come up with a much better land excursion package for the high cost of the Haven!

We may have been disappointed with the some things on the ship. However, we enjoyed our time together. We plan to cruise again!!!

Love Freestyle . Excellent food and drink. Hardworking staff but numerous were rude compared to the Escape. Specialty restaurants not worth it.

This was our 25th cruise and this is the first time I have ever written a review. I am a gold latitudes member with NCL but after this cruise I think that I will go back to either RCCL or Princess. We didn't have an overall bad cruise but I have never experienced a cruise where the staff just seemed to be going through the motions, mainly because they were under staffed and overworked. We also encountered staff members who were rude and seemed aggravated when they had to deal with customers. Last October we cruised to Cuba with RCCL and had a wonderful experience, so when we compare the two cruise lines and the service we received it's not hard to say goodbye to NCL.

I think if there were more staff on board it would of cut down on a lot of waiting, the biggest disappointment was the venue of entertainment, the main shows were of mediocre at best, NCL really needs o bring in dynamite entertainment

Nice cruise. Nice ship. Good port of call. Should not have to pay $200 + to use steam room, sauna and lounge chairs. I did pay it, but this stuff should be part of the fitness center.

A great cruise with Norwegian. I was very happy and will cruise with Norwegian again, however not on "Breakaway" due to the design of the awning over the life boats running the entire length of deck 8. This prevents most of the balconies on this boat from looking down at the water.
