Definitely doing again. Norwegian definitely set the pedestal pretty high for other cruise lines. Will definitely plan a family vacation with them, and another anniversary with my baby. The BEST couple vacation we could ever ask for, we both felt rested and renewed coming back to work.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
On time and smooth, not until we heard announcements to be able to go ashore we would not have notice the ship is docked.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Very classy dining rooms, sophisticated and elegant. The buffet had a very wide and even unexpected variety of various dishes for all nationalities and ethnicity, also there was sufficient warning about most food allergy produce and very clean and organized area.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Unfortunately for me, we were troubled with some very sad news the morning of our trip so we did not do too much. However we did enjoy walks exploring the ship's activity areas, we played golf which was fun. My fiancee did the activity park (where he was strapped up and had to walk along numerous balance beams). We enjoyed walking through the art district and a little time at the casino.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The singers from the live bands were okay, at times off tune but okay otherwise. The DJ with the reggae music was on point though, I did enjoy the classic hits even as I sat from my stateroom balcony. The magician taught us a few tricks we plan on using, so he was pretty good too.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff and Service get an A++. Very helpful and always smiling and courteous.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
As a first time cruiser I was warned so much about be clean and sanitize. But that was no worry aboard the ship. 'Washy Washy' will forever stick with us, and to wake up and walk the ship at any time of night or day and see the staff cleaning and tending to the ship was commendable. Even comparing the exterior of our ship to that of carnival was first class, not a single rust spot on our ship. Decks were very organized and synchronized and interior designing was A class- we often forgot we were on a ship and not a 5 star hotel.
Cabin / Stateroom

Bed would not let us leave, the size was good (more spacious than we anticipated). As soon as we left the room our bed was re-made and supplies restocked. The room was amazing.
Ship tip
Drink package is a must for heavy drinkers and the wifi is a must.
Went into the port, there was not much shopping areas with variety. Also felt uncomfortable with the different transporters and vendors grabbing at me to use their services.
Amazing, though we did not do an excursion we did not need one. The pool in Harvest Caye was everything. The butterfly exhibit as beautiful along with the animals they had. The stores were enticing. This port was definitely our favorite because of the arrangement and environment of the entire port was almost like a huge resort.
Costa Maya was HOT and a long walk through the port but we were able to experience a variety in food, dresses and other souvenirs. Bit compact but was still a very good experience.
Good, I think we arrived home earlier than we anticipated but we were still able to grab breakfast and do our final packing. There was a long line to leave the ship but that was expected and commendably the line moved quickly.
Great review guys heading out on Breakaway in March it was great to see so many positive comments, we did her sister ship the Getaway last April it was our first cruise also.
