The cruise line does not communicate very well when there are changes. Make sure you ask questions. The rating of the cruise is still very high despite the heat and the large number of people

It’s a very large ship. 4,100 people. Plan as far ahead as you can
We had an excursion booked with the cruise ship. We had to tender and left an hour and a half later than our ticket time. As a result, we did not have near enough opportunity to do anything we were slated to do and it was all rushed. People we knew got off onto the tender boats immediately and had ample time and the cost to them was much less.
The docking location was switched and we had to ferry across. We had a private tour scheduled but were slated for the tenth ferry. The fifth ferry got across in time for our excursion time. Lack of communication. Anyone with excursions should have been let off first.
Thanks for your review. Tendering adds a lot of complexity to meeting your excursions. The club/suite levels get to go first. Then there are the folks like me who camp out waiting for the tender to get off quickly if I have an early excursion. I try not to book an early excursion if possible but sometimes there is no choice. Sorry you missed your excursion.
