The overall cruise was very disappointing as NCL did nothing to control the very intoxicated adults on the cruise (many, many people were drinking hard liquor very early in the morning and were intoxicated by mid-day) or the unruly children. We had kids running up and down our hallways until well past midnight almost every night. They were extremely loud and unruly and no one held their parents responsible.

Okay
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The food quality was mediocre at best.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
I didn't participate in any activities on the ship because there were too many drunks. NCL overserved alcohol to way too many people. Also the children on board (according to NCL over 1100) were wild and made most activities miserable.
Entertainment

Fair, but not impressive.
Children's Programs
Because of my age
Service and Staff

Room steward tried to do his best but was way overworked as were most on the ship. The excursion crew were very, very disorganized.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Again, lack of staff along with unruly children and adults resulted iin a messy and sometimes dirty ship.
Terrible and such a disappointment. Did an excursion that left a very long walk in extremely hot weather to get back to the ship tenders. The lines for a tender were too long and resulted in long waits in the hot sun.
Did an excursion that was supposed to have minimal walking. However we were told to walk about 1/2 mile each way to a fishing market. It was 39C and when we finally got back to our bus, it was broken down. We waited about 20 minutes in the heat until another bus came. 10 minutes after reloading the new bus, it broke down also. Again about 15 minutes later another bus came. We told the excursion guide we wanted to return to the ship as most of us were not feeling well after being in the heat for so long. She took a vote and only 3 people out of the whole busload wanted to continue so she refused to return the bus to the ship. The excursion staff was unsympathetic and basically in the end returned $30 of a $89 excursion fee. Totally unacceptable. NCL needs to vet the companies they hire to handle their customers. After all, they do collect the money and make their fair share of the profit!
Did an excursion. Tour guide was good. Went to a "special lunch". However the lunch was served outside in the terrible heat with little shade. It was very uncomfortable.
NCL has nothing to do with children and how their parents give them home training. Must remember everybody is on vacation, so if the kids bother you, try virgin voyages, adults only.
Yeah the places you visited are generally hot this time of year. Also school holidays for summer, so if any time’s going to be busier with kids it’s now. Saying that I’ve never seen that amount of kids, but even so it’s ultimately up to the parents to control them is it not?
