Review summary

The worse cruise I've been on. It was very disappointing that there was so many negative aspects of this cruise.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Quick and organized. It totally fell apart after embarkation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food was warm at best, no variety, and desserts were totally unacceptable. My local grocery store does better desserts. The only food that was worth mentioning was at Ocean Blue and Cagneys steakhouse. The bars however did a pretty good job.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Closed due to weather the first day and didn't open for availability the rest of the cruise.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were fair.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Our room stewart was great along with our waiters in the restaurants. The staff in the so called gift shop were horribly rude, and unwilling to assist. I can't even describe how uncaring their attitude was!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes it was clean but organized, not in the least. Only 2 elevator banks for over 4000 passengers. Not enough seating for the shows. I had a balcony room and I had to practically climb over the bottom of the bed to get to the other side of the room.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Design, layout of the room was horrible. The bathroom was pretty good though.

Ship tip

Cancel and go with another cruise line.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

4 out of 5
Pikes market was great.

Juneau, Alaska

4 out of 5
Great shopping. Salmon bake was nice. This was my favorite port.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Not much there to do. Another of shops were already closed for the season.

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
Very educational. Park ranger on board to explain the bay.

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

5 out of 5
Totem pole park was enjoyable and educational.

Victoria, British Columbia

1 out of 5
We got in port late due to weather so it wasn't worth getting off due to time constraints.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Slow, unorganized. The treated us as if we were cattle being herded. Worse disembarkation of any ship I've been on!
