Review summary

Really like Norwegian cruise, good handicapped rooms. Will not return to Alaska on board Norweigian or not in a large vessel. Will not use Seattle as a departure port.

Embarkation

Will never go out of the Seattle cruise port again. A nightmare

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was good, not exceptional.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Entertainment, comedy (once was all I could reserve, all booked up)

Entertainment

Went to all major shows. Six had a lot of repetitive music. Enjoyed Jersey boys (but a little long). Beatles Experience ???? Out of this world , GREAT. A lot of "empty" space in the day. Our times in port were severely cut and limited. Even the shore vendors were surprised. My niece did enjoy all of her wine tastings and pairings.

Children's Programs

No kids.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent, attentive, friendly

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Always clean and spotless. The observation lounge area is genius. Not enough space in atrium for some of the venues that were presented there

Cabin / Stateroom

I think the handicap design on Norwegian is the best.

Ship tip

Do NOT take this ship to Alaska, especially if you are handicapped

Didn't get to see due to ice

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

Was able to go into port. Visited the gift shop/museum. No restuarants were open because of scheduled time in port. Liked that both the transporter and the gondola were scooter friendly

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

Finally!!!! was able to go to port after pitching a fit and demanding that what I had been promised was realized. BUT, had to ride the transport immediately back to ship. No time in port for sightseeing such as the totem, the forest museum, the native American museum, creek street, NOTHING.

Victoria, British Columbia

Had handicap shuttles. Did NOT drop off in front of empress hotel but several blocks short. Dark....how do you see the supposedly beautiful gardens???

Disembarkation

Fast and easy
