Review summary

The Bliss is a very nice ship and we really enjoyed our time on board. The port were diverse and had something to do for everyone. If we had the opportunity we would sail again next time to different ports. All in all a very good time on board the Bliss.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
the embarkation was very smooth. the longest wait we had was for the covid-19 testing. The staff were very prepared for our arrival. Our booking had a minor hiccup on our part by not having our boarding pass on the app but the staff took care of us very quickly.

Ship experiences

Onboard Activities

we visited the fitness center several times on our cruise and enjoyed it very much. It was clean and well maintained

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We watched The Jersey Boys on our sailing. the performers were very good and the music great to listen to. The adult comedy shows in The Social were hilarious we say both performers and they were both amazing. The singing group Dou RIka was our favorite. the performed all over the ship but our favorite place to see them was at the Sugarcane Bar everynight.

Children's Programs

Did not have children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone of the staff on the ship were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. We did not have any issues with any one that helped us. There was even one time that at breakfast I had to hot cups of milk in my hands and a server and lead came and helped me carry them to my table.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The lay out was very good once I got use to it, After traveling on about 5 different ships this one confused me at first. The café is on the front of the ship so I got turned around several times. Overall the ship was clean and there was quite a few things to do at any given time for any age.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We enjoyed our cabin very much. there seemed to be more room to move around in this cabin compared to some balcony cabins that we have been in roomy bathroom, we both could move around with little difficulty. the bed was a little more firm then we remember but we both slept well every night. the only thing that we had an issue with was the temperature. We like it cold when we sleep. We turned it down as low as possible but in the middle of the night we would have to turn it down again. One night we ended up opening our balcony door. for some cool air.

Mazatlan, Mexico

We walked all over this town. From the ship if you are not on a tour as you leave the ship there are volunteers to help with questions. Stop and talk to them they are very knowledgeable and they are in various areas of the old city too. We walked all over the old city and the Malecon. this is the one city that my husband and I loved exploring. It is a city that we could see spending a little time in not just a day.

Ensenada, Mexico

Disembarkation

Very smooth getting of the ship the only slow down was the elevator, there was only one. We carried our own bags. TSA was very quick and easy even when we had to speak with an agent.
