Your example correct, pool crowded. Nowhere to sit. Restaurants should stay open 1/2 hour longer. Increase technology. Accommodate your now younger sailers.

The HAL definitely knows "crowd control" , whether getting on or off the ship plus tendering. They had it under control. I applaud them.

Definitely NOT the ship you want to be on in the open seas. Not stable in wind like the bigger ships.

Explorations cafe had very yummy, complimentary snacks each day. The Dive In has great hamburgers and fries. The kiosk on main deck to print out your ship account was a frequent stop for many people so no surprises the last day of the cruise when you get your bill.

Serve more seafood and more choices of seafood. Have a drink card that includes cans of soda and not just fountain soda. Better desserts.

Bring a good pair of binoculars because if there are wildlife sightings they will often be very far away and you will need decent magnification if you want to see clearly.

We arrived a little late for boarding so there was no line at all. We walked right through customs and onto the ship. They have a great system down for disembarking too.

The Noordam is an excellent ship and its size Is "just right". We regret the excessive efforts to market, market market its customers ....jewelry, art work, souvenirs! But the crew is absolutely superb and makes cruising ideal. Note, however, the reservations we had about the Captain.
