Our cruise had great food, good entertainment without much variety. The cabins were smaller than what we are used to experiencing. Would I go back? Maybe.

Make sure you ask about billing system on the ship because it seamed to be a wake up call for most of the passengers on the ship

Not many good activities for young adults and families. This cruise seemed to be geared for older adults over 65.

The crew members were fantastic, The Entertainment Director was very Professional as well as Entertaining and informative The App is a plus. * At the private Beach ,chairs are needed in the beach/sand/swim areas. Some Seniors are not able to sit on lounge chairs Maybe Beach Tables and chairs would help

Wonderful and relaxing! We booked the Thermal Suite in the spa and it was great as they limit the number of reservations, so the area is not packed. Overall the whole cruise for the holidays was wonderful, the food was outstanding and the live music venues were great!

I’ve cruise many times in the past but this was definitely the worst owing mainly to the horrible food. No matter what I tried I could not find food that was warm or tasty it was all cold bland and mostly inedible

My title is based on rating the ship and service staff separately from Holland America Corporate. The ship, captain and staff were exceptional. Corporate's decision to nickel and dime you for far too many things left a bad taste in our mouths. Gratuities felt like nothing more than fees which should have been included in the pricing. Then on top of daily gratuities, you paid additional gratuities for any items you purchased. It felt at times like you given access to use the toilets but had to pay for the toilet paper + a gratuity. Too much selling on the cruise. Took a nice time and made it feel dirty.

The ship is very nice but the crew made it great! I was so impressed I am already looking for another cruise on this ship

Wonderful cruise. We loved everything about it! We were sorry that Key West itinerary stop was deleted at the last minute but the Freeport Bahamas substitute turned out to be fine.

The food was very good overall I’d say 8.5 out of 10. The staff is great 10 out of 10. The ship is new enough that you feel like it’s a great experience overall.

The seas were calm and the cruise was very relaxing. The food and service was all top notch!

HAL is known for its classic cruising experience and this fit the bill. Dining and entertainment coupled with a relaxing atmosphere made this an enjoyable cruise experience. For our week, it was a mid-age to older crowd but there were some families.

From the crew and to every island that we visited , the service was aamazing.

I'm sure it would have been a different experience if it wasn't during Thanksgiving, there was not near enough staff for a sold out cruise, every person we talked to said the same thing. If you don't want to be around kids, this is not the cruise to book during Thanksgiving or other holidays, in talking with other seasoned guests, they said there are not normally as many kids as there were. Book early for excursions and main dining room. If you choose the "Drink Package" it covers drinks up to $15, there is a 18% gratuity added to that and then there is a place to put an "additional tip" on a paper receipt every time you order a drink! Definitely noticed if you didn't tip over & above the 18%, the servers generally bypassed you. If you order a double, you will end up paying an extra cost. The food was okay, not fantastic other than in the specialty restaurant. The BB Kings All Star Band was fantastic, as well as the Dance Group in the World Stage. The cruise ship itself is really nice, it's modern, clean, easy to get around.

Great ship, but lacked in services while dining. Didn’t live up to Holland American status

Carnival/Holland supposedly changes everything much more for the worse 2 weeks before my cruise. Either way it was bad. The staff was great, but it was short staffed, bad food and no Covid precautions.
