Embarkation
2 out of 5
Not being familiar with Holland's procedures, no where in the advance notifications & procedures do they address what to expect at check-in. i.e. First line is normal personal and baggage x-rays. Then upstairs to additional processing. Then receive a boarding group # and relax in waiting area.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

We will say the food on Lido was better than Princess. We have 18 voyages on Princess. The staff on Lido Market were attentive to get you your drink as soon as you sat down, especially April who was courteous and efficient.
Onboard Activities

Trivia and music trivia were nice. Especially lightning trivia. Moves along fast with no prizes which is fine.
Entertainment

No where as good as the variety on Princess. Dancers were great, but 3 nights worth?
Children's Programs

Service and Staff

Our room stewards, Indra & Mar kept our suite clean, tidy and smelling good all the time.
Ship Quality

Common areas very clean. Ships layout is probably usual Holland - OK Dis-embarkation was a disaster. What yo yo authorized 3 of the 4 elevators, mid-ship and aft to be locked for general use from at least 8 am to 9:15 am. You had walk offs with luggage waiting and waiting for the one and only elevator. So you had walk-off passengers walking down stairs carrying big suitcases, or dragging them down stairs with some tripping and falling. You wouldn't be seeing us again on Holland!

Once again Indra & Mar did a fantastic job. Very nice walk-in shower
Ship tip
It will be OK if you haven't sailed on Princess prior.
Sorry you weren’t satisfied with your cruise. Disembarkation was bad, but it seemed to be the Port’s fault from what we saw. Terminals 21 and 26 use the same parking garage at Port Everglades.
I think they usually block elevators on disembarkation day so they can get the luggage out and placed in the terminal as quickly as possible? I may be wrong about this. We’re usually among the last off at 10am when much of the nervous hub-bub is passed so it doesn’t effect us.
Curious as to what was confusing about the embarkation? What you listed sounds like every cruise I’ve ever done. It’s always best to let the Cruise Line take care of your luggage rather than take it off yourself an outfit at least half of the people try to do self debarkation.
