Review summary

A cruise for people who would like to see beautiful countryside. Very similar to people who like Alaska. That said it's not for children or teens. If you're seen it all , then this is for you. Don't forget you're winter clothes, it can be very cold.

Docked far away sometimes from the village, necessatating taking a taxi or walking distance to train station. It appears to be a strategy to get you to take their over the moon priced excursions. At Stavenger , it docks far away. Take the bus 300m from the terminal costs 6 dollars for 2. Go with HAL a family of four could cost a few hundred dollars. Price for kids is only slightly discounted.. Taxi in Copenhagen from the port to the central station will set you back $45.

Service was great and menu had variety in the main dining room. There could be a line to enter. Wine by the glass is served on Lido deck in beaten up plastic glasses unless you ask for a Real glass glass. When you get the real glass glass you'll see it's not even half full. Now you solved the plastic glass mystery. The volume is half in the plastic glass to make you think you're getting a full glass.
