This was the trip of a lifetime for me. My mother's side of the family was all from Norway. So to see so much of the country and experience how beautiful the mountains, valleys, fjords, villages and housing built on the hills are was just breathtaking. It is just so hard to put in to words that can give someone who has not seen it a true idea of how beautiful and majestic the waterfalls and mountains are. The captain of the ship for one particular waterfall in a fjord did a 360 degree turn with the ship in the fjord so that all passengers could see it's beauty. I had a particular reason to go to Norway. You really don't need one!

The food in the dining room, on the Lido deck, and in the Canaletto Restaurant and Tamarind Restaurant was excellent.
Onboard Activities

We did not take advantage of any of these areas. The low rating is a mistake. It should be an N/A.
Entertainment

The music venue's were wonderful. So much so that we never saw any of the other performers. The Rolling Stone/BB King /Billboard areas were a great deal of fun to listen to.

Ship Quality

This ship is new. The design is very nice. It was kept very clean. Enjoyed the cruise very much. Would take this ship again.
Cabin / Stateroom

The size was very adequate. The cabinetry is wonderful with a good deal of space to store clothing. The balcony is a good size with nice chairs that have an ottoman to pull out from under for your feet. The bath has a very nice shower that is the size of a full bath tub which makes it nice and roomy.
Ship tip
Try the Canaletto and or Tamarind specialty restaurants.
Unfortunately while we were here it was extremely foggy and we couldn't see much on our Hop on Hop off tour. About an hour before we left it was clear and the sun came out.
We did not do an excursion here though many others did and enjoyed the railway trip. There is not a lot to the town to visit though the beauty of the area is incredible.
We originally signed up for an excursion, however, it got changed to something we were not as interested in so we cancelled. Haugesund was the least interesting of all the stops to us.
