Very disappointed in HAL but not in Alaska. Our land portion to Denali was spectacular.

Disappointed with HAL although plenty of staff, they seemed unsure of their menu. Neptune lounge staff less than helpful. Embarkation was awful. Our cabin was wonderful.

This was my first cruise back since Covid hit and I was smiling ear-to-ear once I walked into my stateroom. This was my Disneyland for I was in "the happiest place on earth". The ship was 1/2 full so there were no lines, no lack of tables or chairs on the sun deck. The other passengers were pleasant and mostly kept to the mask mandate established. Service was excellent and the food...on-point! Great to be back and will see them again very soon!

Despite the pandemic and the related financial hardship, HAL did not lose a beat. We were so impressed with everything and it felt so good to be back onboard. We are dedicated HAL cruisers so this was really nice to experience. Nothing to complain about. Just perfection

This was our 19th cruise. The first 18 cruises were on Royal Caribbean Cruise line. We thought it was about time we start bringing her horizons by trying out other cruise lines. We started with Holland America Cruise Line. We were impressed in that Holland America is more geared to our age group. We’ve already booked another cruise on Holland America a transatlantic from Rome to Fort Lauderdale.

This ship, crew, food and service was incredibly top-notch! I would highly recommend it!!

Overall a nice return to cruise. A traditional experience geared to older crowd. The ship is smaller in size, easier to get around with an amazing art collection.

Nice cruise relaxing, no strenuous activities, the quality of service excellent, they are very attentive and the bar offers top shelf alcohol 🍷

I wouldn’t recommend this ship. I like Holland America but not this particular ship. Find some activities for your cruisers!

Sorry Holland America but I like when you’re not at full capacity.

Great cruise. Considering it was during COVID, we were pleasantly surprised how well Holland handled everything.

21 day cruise consisting of an older population. Very informative presentations by the cruise and travel director, Valerie. Nice to be back on the sea.

Took 7 day Alaska explorer cruise and had a fantastic trip. Covid protocols were in place but did not feel restrictive and the ship atmosphere was comfortable and relatively quiet. Crew was personable and provided a high level of attentive customer service. Ports of call changed slightly due to weather but alternative port was great and did not feel like we missed out on anything. Excursions were reasonably priced and well organized. Lectures and entertainment on board were great. Food was also good. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a laid back cruise experience. Would definitely recommend and will definitely sail with HAL again

It was great getting back to cruising. We enjoyed all of the precautions all of the staff took to make our cruise safe. We LOVE the way our embarkation went so smooth.

Even though this was a late in the season Alaska cruise we were excited to be back cruising. Holland America made this cruise safe and very efficient. As usual, Holland America's crew members provided excellent service throughout. The Neiuw Amsterdam is a beautiful ship and seemed to be very clean and well maintained.

With Fully Vaccinated Guest and Crew, and the Wearing of Mask, we felt SAFE! Loved the Ship and Crew Would Sail the Nieuw Amsterdam Again!

First cruise after covid went very smooth enjoyed every minute missed mixing with lots of people at dinner was available but never when we went other than that just glad to get cruising again

Decent cruise, calm atmosphere and calm sea. Holland America gave decent cruise for the money.
