Review summary

Only travel on MSC if you upgrade to the yacht club. Unless its a last minute decision or looking for a budget trip don't travel on this cruise line.

Food and Dining

Surprisingly the food quality was very poor. The breakfast at the buffet was disgusting and service at the main dining room was awful. The MSC Divina food was much better.

The music at the club was good and so was the entertaining staff. The show and performers were really bad.

Service and Staff

The restaurant, bar and cabin service was pretty bad. Probably the worst in about 18 cruises. However, all the staff at the casino were excellent. They even apologized for the bar service in the casino and said they get a lot of complaint about it.

Ship Quality

The design of the ship is similar to all their other ships and the common areas were ok except the pool area and bathrooms which were a mess a lot of the time.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was fine, except that it was not clean property. Our balcony was very large but had an obstruction and could not look towards the bow of the ship.

Ship tip

Unless your looking for a budget cruise don't sail on this cruise line. They are not known for their service unless you upgrade to the Yacht club, which is a lot more money and if your going to do that your better off on RCCL.
