If hot tubs are important to you, do not book a cruise on MSC. We learned that we prefer smaller ships with fewer people and fewer places to get lost trying to find.

Make sure you know the time you will be in each port, they tend to be shorter than other lines. Eat in the main dining for all meals or take advantage of the specialty restaruants.

Do the express walk-off! It’ll save you time and money! We missed our flight and wasted $2000+ on staying one night, plane tickets, food, clothing (our shirts got ruined in the baggage process), things to do!

I was surprised to see there are no ATMs on board. Bring all the cash you want to spend. I probably would have spent more in the casino if I could have taken more cash out.

They’re going to try to nickel and dime you. As soon as you board, they’re pushing for the specialty dining. We purchased the drink package, but we found out it was not “premium” package. Can’t be 100% sure that the liquor was genuine.

If planning on getting and spa treatments book prior to boarding. They are less expensive. Also once onboard book your times asap too you can get your desired times.
