Expect different. MSC Isn’t like other lines. After 20 cruises we know the norm and this wasn’t it. Very little communication such as never telling u when ship is cleared to get off at ports. We almost missed our Nassau excursion because we were told to wait for clearance from the ship that never came. Again we went some non our own and hundreds was already off. Not the cruise line for us. Won’t be back.

Don’t purchase an excursion you are absolutely positive you are going to participate in it. We purchased the blue lagoon at Nassau in January 2023, 4 months before the cruise. Several days after booking it we learned we would only be at the port from 0900-1400 per MSC’s website. This is not nearly enough time to enjoy the excursions when it has a 30 minute shuttle each way. A few days after booking we called and cancelled the excursion and we’re told it would be 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to process. It is now June 2023 and we still are out $165. I have been told it’s processing, my credit card company is holding the funds, accounting will release them on Friday, it’s a auto generated system refund that a human can’t initiate, they may issue you an onboard credit… so and so forth. I called and asked to speak with a Supervisor multiple times and they refused to transfer me to one. To add insult to injury, credit card company’s limit disputes to 60 days after the transaction. I’m well past the 60 days because I waited for MSC to do the right thing and they did not. Don’t take my word for it, do a little research and you will see MSC is notorious for holding refunds, I’ve read some people who waited 15 months.

Be patient, this ship has well over 5000 other guests. There are many little nooks and crannies to enjoy some quiet moments. We enjoyed the Loft Cafe and Cabaret Lounge during the off hours.

You get what you pay for then they rob you blind on anything you can think of, except for bandaid, wifes feet bleeding from so much walking, spent a couple days trying to find some, then we were told they don't have them, and I requested to go to Dr on-board, and they replied the Dr was not there for bandaids

Go with the Yacht Club on MSC if you can! I originally did not want to spend the extra money, but I'm so glad my husband did! All the perks are well worth it from our experience!
