Review summary

There was a accident at port of Miami and delayed 6 hours that was very understandable, no problems with that, but they called and said to come to port and board, after 6 hours of misery, with not one rep from the MSC, To talk to anyone although we did get a text saying we were further delayed do to congestion at the port and bad weather ( it did mist on us off and on for 6 hours) we were then prodded and yelled at to get on boat. Theated like garbage. Wet luggage, trip shortened by 12 hours, we were given a $20 on-board credit wow that's 4 bottles of water. On the last day a letter was slipped under our door for 10% off our next cruises cabin price. 10% off the cruise we paid for our 30th anniversary would be a insult. Not sure I would even take a free cruise from this multi million or billion dollar company. Over all the boat was beautiful, most of staff were great, excursions were fun. Overall would rate this cruiseline company a D.

Embarkation

Delayed 6 hrs, then called to embark stood in heat no food or water for 6 hrs, purely unprofessional

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Cold food on buffet, main dining was average

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pool and spa

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Dining hall waiter and concierge was exceptional, most staff met you with a smile and hello. The upper management treated you like cattle

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Boat for most part were kelp pretty clean, layout was not, unfortunately the buffet ran over half the length of the ship on 16th floor our cabin was on the 15th, you could hear every one of the thousands of chairs scoot above us, and guessing a 747 or a very loud elevator brought food up and dirty dishes back down to the lover level so to say the least was constantly woke up, heard this from many guests

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was overall good, we arrived after midnight pitch black using our phones for lighting in cabin only to figure out 10 mins later that you had to insert your cabin door card in a slot to turn on power to the room, no introduction on anything in room, no Tele # lists which did no good because room service didn't answer there phone until day 4. Ice bucket in room but no ice machine to be found

Ship tip

You get what you pay for then they rob you blind on anything you can think of, except for bandaid, wifes feet bleeding from so much walking, spent a couple days trying to find some, then we were told they don't have them, and I requested to go to Dr on-board, and they replied the Dr was not there for bandaids

Beautiful, but not beach people, so stayed on boat most of the day

Disembarkation

Better than embarkation, would have liked to seen them release passengers, by price paid for rooms, you would think the people that paid for the higher priced rooms would be let out first
