We had a really great time on the MSC Seascape! The ship is absolutely beautiful. It is clean and sparkling. The staff is amazing. We booked a suite and the cabin was spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the views with the balcony. MSC allowed us to balance activities and quiet time very nicely. There is tons to do for entertainment and lots of quiet places to relax. The food was fantastic. The buffet offers something for everybody and it really is delicious. The nightly restaurant dinners provided an elegant delicious meal with wonderful service. The theater entertainment was a little bit corny but that's okay. The lounge acts were a little more intimate and higher caliber performances. I would take MSC again anytime. The Seascape is a fantastic ship and everybody works really hard to make sure you have a good time.
Embarkation

Easy Peasy we walked right on. We had a late boarding time and that was great! We arrived about 2:45. Did not have to wait in line. Had a fast processing in a way we went.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

We had anytime Aurora package so it was very flexible. We had the same server and support staff every night. They were great!! He remembered our names and drink orders after one night. The menu changed every night and there was something for everyone. We have a group with distinctly different pallets and we were all happy with the selections.
The buffet was also amazing. They had a wide selection. There are multiple stations serving different choices. We headed to the middle to avoid some of the entrance congestion. The pizza is FANTASTIC!!! They had a nice dessert selection too.
Onboard Activities

We enjoyed several of the ships activities. Water slides were fun. We enjoyed them after an excursion day so there were very short lines. Avoid on sea days if possible as they are understandably busy. We liked the adults only infinity pool deck 8 with loungers in the water. There is not much shade at the pool areas so we did not stay long. But the water was refreshing and had beautiful views.
The fitness center was great. Lots of equipment and classes to choose from. Some classes were included and others for a $19 fee. It was clean and allowed for a robust and varied workout.
Aurea Spa

We were looking for a bit of relaxation so of course went to the spa. I did not find it at all relaxing. It was crowded and loud. There are many unique rooms and showers that have different therapeutic experiences. They were all pretty crowded though. I did partake in a massage that was wonderful! And I also found a little area that was tucked away with a couple loungers. That was nice, a little background chatter but not too bad. It was a nice place to relax with a book.
Entertainment

There were many musical entertainment options available. There were dueling pianos (uptown bar), a variety act and magicians (cabaret bar), jazz band (loft cafe) they were all great. We especially enjoyed the evening jazz. The room is cozy and band fantastic.
Chora Theatre

The theater is beautiful. Nice acoustic's and comfortable seating. The show's are a bit cheesey but the performers are very talented! It was an episode of Glee 😂We kept coming back most nights. The concert show was pretty good as well as the final performance.

It is a sparkling beautiful ship!! Truly beautiful. It is clean and well cared for. There is art everywhere, even the lighting is art on this ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had an aft corner suit. It was awesome!! The room was spacious and the balcony views fantastic. If you can swing this do it!! I could not afford the Yacht Club but there was a great deal for the suite when I booked so that splurge was well worth it!! It allowed for some quiet and privacy.
The bathroom including the shower was much larger than the standard balcony.
Ship tip
Be patient, this ship has well over 5000 other guests. There are many little nooks and crannies to enjoy some quiet moments. We enjoyed the Loft Cafe and Cabaret Lounge during the off hours.
Georgetown was a bit of a mess. You had to use the little boats to get off the ship. That that was a bit of an unorganized mess. We did not book an excursion and it was a good thing we may have not gotten off in time. We took a taxi to 7 Mile Beach. It was just okay. We came back to the ship a little early which turned out to be a really good thing. We were able to get back without much trouble and explore some of the activities on the ship like water slides without it being overly crowded.
A relaxing day at the beach. The island is fun. The sand was soft and the shade was abundant! We were able to find a quiet place with lounge chairs and palm trees. We spent lots of time with the floaties in the water.
Jamaica is absolutely beautiful! We booked an excursion with a private driver. We did Blue Hole, But I later heard the hidden falls would have been fantastic. I would probably do that instead. We also did Calypso River rafting. That was really wonderful. Quiet and relaxing!
Hot mess! I can not imagine a scenario involving moving 5,000+ people off the ship that is without complications however this is a mess. They were running close to an hour behind, then the Port Authority delayed it further. We got off the ship 2hrs after our scheduled time. It made for a nervous ride to catch flights.
There were also some issues getting off the ship in Grand Cayman with the tender boats.
So sorry Drobin609 I did not take any pictures of the cabin or balcony, but it is great! Very spacious, lot's of storage and closet space. King bed with sofa, desk area with chair and ottoman and a coffee table. Balcony had 2 loungers and at least 1 chair and ottoman. Shower and bathroom are larger than the regular balcony rooms.
Could you please share some pictures of your room and balcony? We just booked the cabin right above yours and I can't find any pictures or video of these rooms!! Thank you in advance if this reaches you...
