Overall this was an amazing cruise, expensive due to the last minute room upgrade, drink package, etc, but well worth it. Amazing staff the whole trip, smooth sailing, Clean rooms, unlimited entertainment and activities, drinks, games, pools, etc unlimited...one of the best cruise I've been on so far. I would rate 10 out of 10, but not having music throughout all day and island music was a downer (especially going to the caribbean) AND all night food area like most cruises have for those who like to dance the night away. So I'm rating it a 9 out of 10 overall.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Main Dining Room service was impecable, the servers were extremely friendly and made the whole trip enjoyable for my whole family. They gave us their honest opinions when asked and didn't mind small funny talk with the younger ones and serving whatever they wanted which was a plus for us. Most of the dishes were simply amazing, just wish the portions were a bit more, but it helped that we could order a second choice as an addition.
The buffets in the mornings were pretty much the same daily but the variety was vast so there is no way someone would not find something to their liking , whether to conform to their dietary needs or age. I have a kidney disease and I enjoyed the food immensely and ate to my heart's content. The whole party enjoyed all the food immensely and the fact that lunch and dinners are changed almost daily to adjust to your destination was even better. All in all the food was a definite highlight. BUT they NEED A station from 1-4 am for those who drink and dance who get hungry. So many complaints were being heard about that fact.
As for the Drinks, we got the drink package ,enjoyed and it paid itself the second day (LOL). all the drinks are delicious, and on board, we met a few bartenders who introduced us to new drinks that were delicious and appealing to the eye.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
They had more than enough activities to do onboard, but personally I enjoyed the infinity pool by the promenade in the back the most, and then deck 16 by the bar out of the marketplace buffet. My next best activity was the casino, which gives you the real feel of the luxurious casinos in Las Vegas, with the bars in the middle and entertainment right next to it. Also enjoyed the shows, the slides, the Cabaret Rouge Karaoke, and challenges in the theatre . There are just too many to list but I fully took advantage of all the time onboard for sure.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were great, just wish they had a little bit more variety than the live singing every night at the theatre but they were all amazing to say the least. Some of the singers are beyond talented and it was a real treat. The Mentalist show was one of my favorites as an act. But I do wish that they would play DJ Music Mixes all over the ship like other cruises do so people could dance and feel good and dance whenever they wanted to , not only when MSC felt they wanted to schedule in a DJ.
Children's Programs

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everybody was so friendly and attentive on MSC! Not once did we have an issue , was it not resolved immediately. The staff goes above an beyond to make all their guests feel special at all times.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
One of the best looking ship at every port we docked at. Many commented and notated that fact
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Comfort of the cabin was excellent, we did have an issue with the AC not working , but as soon as we mentioned it to the cabin attendant, it was immediately taken care of.
Room was attended to twice a day and never needed for anything.
Ship tip
If you dont need food in the middle of the night or you love a ship that doesnt have music all over, than this is the right one for you!
Very Orderly, just wish you werent rushed out of your room so early. I wish they had a system where first debarkation had to be out of their rooms by 7, then follow by debarkation. our debarkation was at 10:30, but had to be out of the room by 7, which was ridiculous, as we had some sleeping on the deck with our carryons waiting for our time to leave.
