Review summary

The Seascape is a beautiful ship that is well designed. Enjoy the differences with MSC rather than comparing it to other lines.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food in the dining room & buffet was excellent with lots of variety.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Always something to do.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very good with a variety of different shows throughout the cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Cabin and meal service was very good.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship that is easy to navigate. I like the elevators where you choose the floor you are going to and it lets you know which elevator to get on and how long before it arrives. They seemed more efficient than the traditional style.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Spacious and well designed.

Ship tip

Don’t expect a carbon copy of Carnival, Royal Caribbean or NCL

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Lots of options in Cozumel.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Great snorkeling at Eden Rock a short walk from the port.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Relaxing day at Bamboo Beach Club.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
The best private island I have been to.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very fast and easy.

Thank you for your detailed review. I am so excited to be trying out this ship in October. I know there are a lot of mixed reviews, and I think you hit the nail on the head is that don't expect Carnival, NCL or Royal. MSC is unique on its own. For my wife and I, we loved it. At the time.of.our first cruise with MSC, americans were the minority and it was awesome. Was your cruise full and if so how was the space to the crowds ratio?
