Go to the specialty restaurant for reservations if you don’t see the time you want in the app. Also reservations for the teppanyaki restaurant has to be made in person.

The Meraviglia attracts a lot of Europeans especially French and Italians. You will need to have plenty of patience as they can be rude and have no concept of personal space.

Go with an open mind! You will have a wonderful time...just realize that MSC is not run like the other lines out of American ports...so don't assume. Ask questions and make sure you understand how their systems work.

There are no Aft elevators for passengers. Cabins in the last two sections must walk to mid-ship elevators.

I see on Cruise Critic that someone received a notice from MSC that a person on our sailing tested positive for Coronavirus. We never received such an email. My advice is to go on the MSC Meraviglia if you like long stretches of boredom and sketchy sanitization.

If you are used to an USA like service be prepared to lower your expectation. They are still lacking on that part. It is clearly à European one with less customer caring. BUT you will be totally satisfied if you book a suite in the yacht club

We had read that MSC cruises caters to an older, more sedate crowd. Our cruise was totally overrun with kids who weren't especailly weel-behaved. If someone is looking for a refined, sedate crusing experience, the Meraviglia is not it!
