Review summary

Excellent and wonderful experience. People were friendly and places were beautiful.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Don’t listen to the other comments - embarkation was not five hours. It was an hour max. Everything went very smoothly, even the Coronavirus screenings.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Omg delicious! Did not eat at speciality restaurants, but the buffet was good and the MDR was FANTASTIC. We had a delicious dinner every night and I looked forward to it every day. Also the Choc’Choc sundae at the gelato and crepe place was the best I’ve ever had. It costs extra, but I highly recommend.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I didn’t participate in many of them, but I did enjoy the amusement park. They could have stood to have more activities to do onboard. Bingo was also fun (for a cost of course).

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We prepaid for Cirque du Soleil’s Viaggio show but ended up with tickets to Sonor. It turned out fine, though, cuz I just wanted to finally see them and they were incredible. Sonor was fantastic and I’m sure Viaggio is too.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was so friendly and helpful and always had on a smile. I was very impressed. There was one exception- our waiter at dinner in the Waves restaurant, Putra. He was very, very slow in delivering our food. Dinner often lasted an hour and a half to two hours due to his delay. He never had a smile either. However, the food was so amazing we didn’t let him ruin our experience.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin steward, Mauricio, was a gem and so helpful and nice!

Ship tip

Don’t pay too much attention to the negative reviews and let them cloud your experience.

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Beautiful country and friendly people. Last time I was here was in 2000 during hurricane season so I don’t remember much. This time definitely made up for that! We visited Tabyana Beach, which I cannot recommend enough. We snorkeled with beautiful fish, and guides took us further out over the reef for no extra charge. Such wonderful people and hospitality. Lunch was fantastic as well!

Belize City, Belize

Loved it! We did Altun Ha and the Olde Belize River. The ruins were beautiful and peaceful. We got a lot of great pictures. We got extra time on the river to look at animals and we still got back to the ship on time.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
The bluest water! We did the dolphin encounter and it was fantastic. I recommend buying the pictures online, as one pic online is $35 versus $50 in person. I wish I’d had more time to shop, but that was my dad rushing us around. It’s a gorgeous port.

Disembarkation

Not as fast as everyone said, but a relatively simple process. They also let us go earlier than our scheduled time, which was nice.

Same question, will sail March 15

How was the level of sanitization? Did you note extra precautions on food service such as servers in the buffet or extra cleanings in public areas? We are scheduled for sailing Mar 15. Thanks.
