Excellent cruise by EdibleSocks

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was my first introduction to cruising and I am now a convert! Unfortunately all other cruises will be compared and found wanting :( The only let-downs were that both excursions I had booked were cancelled. Be aware too that you are usually required to pay for shuttles into the city unless the ship docks at a port where you are legally not allowed to wander around. These can be expensive, from 6 to 15 euros. Try and find a local free or cheap shuttle bus if you can.

Fabulous west Mediterranean cruise by Dianadb

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

First cruise we have done and we liked it so much that we will do another. Loved the idea of seeing a new port everyday and yet only unpacking once. Couldn’t fault the ship or cruise company. Recommended to try it.

Mixed Med Cruise! by E30chick

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was our first cruise and we were completely blown away by the hospitality of the staff on the ship and the facilities on board we genuinely didn't know what to expect and I think that we would find it hard to now go back to a normal holiday when you are in the same area for a number of days

cool Trip by mrif

Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

we choose this cruise because of the great rate we received. We travelled with no children. Balcony cabin room 9075. The MSC Divina beautiful well maintained ship, staff is curtious. The specialty dining VERY limlited. Entertainment was ok.

Disappointing, must do better by TheCroxtons

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This is our 10th Cruise. Never Again on this ship, MSC have a very long way to go to get to international expectations for a good cruise ship on the Divana. We sailed the mereviglia last year and was much better. Their choice in cheap labour stands out a mile (you get what you pay for) The company is expecting to run a high end service and charge as such with budget staff with little or no customer service skills or experience. It was obvious everywhere, the ship is nice but won't remain that way with staff like this, and being worked this hard (I saw a cleaner asleep on the stairs with his trolley during the day when the ship had docked) Standards of food are nowhere high enough, service is generally shocking, and not a relaxing holiday with many kids running around instead of being entertained in clubs or with activities.

30th anniversary cruise by tinasparkles2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Aurea experience was good value for money. Especially the sun deck and drinks. (Classic) If you're not bothered about food quality then you'll be fine otherwise be prepared to pay and eat in eatily or the sushi restaurant. Thank you Richard our steward for the towel birds and swans on our 30th anniversary. Great guy xx

Not a Huge MSC Fan by raebuddy

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean

I loved the ports for this cruise but would not suggest this cruise line. The employees are not happy and it shows in their customer service. I also was just not a fan of the food selections. I've been on 5 other cruises (Norwegian, Celebrity 2x's, Carnival and Royal Caribbean) and they all had far better food selections. I also prefer anytime dining, instead of being locked into a late time. The Divina had many things to do but again all the other cruise lines had even more. The Cabin was by far the nicest/roomiest cabin and we always do a balcony. For us it's worth the extra $$ because we spend a lot of time out on it having coffee or watching the sunset/sunrise or just reviewing the events for the following day.

Great ports, but service severely lacking by vegasbyron

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean

Tried MSC because we got a good deal. Customer service is lacking might be understaffed. Pretty ship that boast great ports. Very surprised that on this cruise the Europeans and not the Americans were the rude ones. :D

Disappointed! by bob111234

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean

The Divina is a beautiful ship. With all the expansion MSC is doing, it seems to us that they are spending more time and money on the newer ships and pushing the older fleet to the wayside. This was the worst of 10 voyages on the Divina, and although the staff does an excellent job on keeping her looking beautiful, her age is showing and she is due for some much needed repairs and upgrades.
