Review summary

This was our first cruise and we were completely blown away by the hospitality of the staff on the ship and the facilities on board we genuinely didn't know what to expect and I think that we would find it hard to now go back to a normal holiday when you are in the same area for a number of days

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We were a little bit lost on embarkation as it was our first cruise. Our room was not ready and we were ushered up to the buffet restaurant but we weren't really sure what we were meant to do after that but thankfully one of the waitress in the restaurant looked after everything for us.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The buffet restaurant was absolutely fantastic and the food in the black crab was just delicious and we had the most fabulous waiter called Martin

Black Crab Restaurant

5 out of 5

The food in the black Crab restaurant was absolutely deliciousMy favourite starter would have been the Caesar salad and my favourite main course was the Indian butter chicken and the best dessert from the whole week was the apple crumbleOur table number was 530 and we had Batman and Robin looking after us (Martin and Amish Kumar) they were brilliant.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The ships facilities were absolutely fantastic my only negative response is that I just didn't have enough time to do everything

The shows on the ship where brilliance

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service from the staff was outstanding I think the room lady spent more time in a room cleaning then we did sleeping

Ship Quality

Everything was kept very clean from what I can see

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was really nice the bed was super comfortable we were looking out over onto a lifeboat but to be honest that doesn't bother me at all so long as I had a view of the sea and some fresh air

Ship tip

A tip for the ladies if you are wearing your hair down and you want to go out for a bit of fresh air after your dinner make sure you have a hairbrush in your bag to fix your hair when you come back inside!!

Your review makes me want to consider MSC? Cruise in the future. I only have cruised on Carnival and only Feb and March
