First cruise we have done and we liked it so much that we will do another. Loved the idea of seeing a new port everyday and yet only unpacking once. Couldn’t fault the ship or cruise company. Recommended to try it.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We are non alcoholic drinkers so we did not purchase a drinks package. We just purchased our coffee and soft drinks as we went. Food was also very good. Most of our meals we had in the buffet as we were able to choose what suited us. All the pizza, rolls and croissants mad on board were absolutely delicious.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Went to ever stage show except the first. Thought they were fabulous. Our favourite was the “Queen” tribute.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
99% were very friendly and helpful. Everyone staff member we came across were able to speak English to us and always greeted us as we walked around the ship.
Ship Quality

Couldn’t fault it. Spotlessly clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size was perfect. We were able to store all our luggage in wardrobes and under bed. Had plenty of room to move around and also enough space to sit out on the balcony.
Ship tip
enjoy everything and take it all in and you will have a perfect holiday.
We did not do an excursion as we walked into town as it is close to the port and did our own thing. Visited the cathedral, palace and palantine chapel, Quattro canti, piazza Pretoria and wondered around.
Did our own thing. Walked up the hill and I mean hill, it was hard work on a very warm day to the amphitheater and then across to palace, church and Bastione San Remy. Then back down to the port where we had plenty of time so we caught the hop on bus tour to see the outer areas.
Valencia port closed due to 7metre waves and high winds. Ship called at Barcelona port as we had spent 5 days there last year, we decided to do the different routes on the hop on and off bus. We did hop off to see the bullring and the La Sagrada church.
Did ship excursion to Marseille where we visited the Longchamp Palace (stunning) and the Notre Dame cathedral (120 steps to reach top where cathedral is. Please note if you struggle with stairs). We were then given free time around old port.
We did ship excursion to Portofino which we thought was expensive for what you got as we were on a ferry (up and back) longer than the time we had to spend in Portofino. We were back on ship around 2pm when we didn’t leave port until 6pm. It would have been nice to stay there a bit longer so you didn’t feel rushed and we could have seen a bit more. No guide or anything so you are really paying $202aud. Just for 2 people to ride the ferry.
