I much prefer the smaller ships. Too many people. Eating at the buffet was a memorable experience in shoving, line cutting, etc.

Purchase any extras in advance. They will constantly try to get you to buy photos, wines bottles, excursions, drink packages while on board.

Don't get the Duplex suite if you have friend in Yacht club class. Very much distinction between the two. I always had better suite serve on EVERY other cruise.
