I booked a big ship and got a big ship so I now know they are not for me. It was all too basic and money oriented for me so I know now beyond any doubt I need to pay a bit more to get a bit more.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Seamless and very quiet. Very pleasantly surprised
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The buffet was heaving 24/7 it really got me down, just trying to find a table most days was really hard work. Main restaurant was fine, found menu and portions small and simple.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I loved the gym on board, staff there lovely too
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Very ‘european’ entertainment which I guess for a European ship is to be expected. All a bit dumbed down. Very strange to have to book shows too, that’s a first for me.
Service and Staff

Room steward just wonderful, always in awe of how hard they work. Other staff I found either lovely or completely disinterested.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
I really didn’t like the ship. Open spaces were limited, there’s nowhere to walk around and take some air/excercise. I might be a bit old fashioned but I like a walk round the ship. It is essentially a floating shopping mall with a couple of bars. We had bad weather but I felt the open spaces for the people on board weren’t sufficient.
Cabin / Stateroom
1 out of 5
Cabin lovely, but oh so small. Balcony frame squeaked 24/7 driving us insane. Couldn’t have slept without earplugs. Literally no noise from corridor or neighbours. Bed was wonderfully comfortable too. Storage was awful, tiny little wardrobe and Ill appointed bathroom, nowhere for anything. Most annoying was a sofa bed that was so oversized for the room it took all the space. Really quite odd. My main concern was no life jacket in the cabin. How can that be safe?
Thank you for this review.
I wanted to book a cruise on that ship but I was waiting for comments. Thanks to your comments,
I 've chosen another ship : the Seaview.
