We had a great time from start to finish. My only problem was in understanding some of the loudspeaker announcements.. I usually could only pick up the occasional word. Not a big deal though. I have the same problem on every ship.

Perfect Day at Coco Cay is worth the getaway. Love that place no matter if you just chill or seek thrills.

We enjoyed Mariner of the Sea and spent this cruise mostly in the Casino. Its a smaller boat but perfect for a weekend cruise.

Will try a different ship next time as it was fine but not the best

Fun getaway for our anniversary. Overall an 8/10 of a trip. Would absolutely do this same ship and ports again, though would probably turn the Nassau day into a personal on the ship day.

If you are not ready to cruise on one of the mega ships then Mariner is a great choice.

Loved the ship so much that we booked another cruise at Next Cruise on first day. The ship is old and doesn't have a lot of the stuff newer ships have but the price is so much better.

Wonderful cruise. Honestly, haven’t had a bad cruise yet! I’m not working, cleaning or cooking! Enjoy your time at sea!!!!

A very nice short cruise, full of fun people and things to do. This ship is a great way to get away for a few days in order to catch a second wind.

Very busy time of year to cruise unless u enjoy being with kids out of school. The RCL staff was great, but short handed with personnel! Ship was great, clean and refurbished nicely. Would consider sailing again but not during school break!

We had a great time with friends and family. Ship and port were ok.

Ok- I was extremely disappointed in holiday decorations and events- that was main reason we chose this time of year wanted grand girls to see ship decorated----but was not the case!! very minimal and few poinsettias were either dead or severely maimed But, great family time and the "duck hunting" was superior!!

We have cruised on another cruiseline, so that's my comparison. We were allowed to board a little early but we were never asked to check our luggage nor were we directed to an area to check it. We were all of a sudden on board and went to guest services. Here we encountered a very rude employee that didn't want to help. He said you'll need to carry it with you until your room is ready. I was thinking what, for three hours! We are a family if six with children abd I told him that's unacceptable. I asked to speak with a manager and then he said MAYBE I can help you and hold them here but you'll need to pick them up here. This was not a great way to start our cruise.

Fun, economical, easy. Favorite older,smaller ship. Love the suite lounge. Marc Walker is an excellent cruise director.

This my my wife’s and my honeymoon. Also both of ours first cruise. Overall it was perfect. From getting in the hot tub at 4 am to having room service on our balcony staring out into the ocean. I would 100% recommend a cruise to everyone.

I understand that this was a short getaway but cutbacks are showing.

Overall the cruise was well worth it. I was stunned at how many people were on this cruise which left the port the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I actually expected it to be rather empty and I was totally off base on that. Not only was it almost to full capacity but there were a lot more children on this cruise than I expected so if you're looking for something that's a bit more family-friendly this may be a great time for you to book a cruise for next year. On the flip side if you're looking for a cruise with fewer kids and more adults then you may want to reconsider this time of year. The weather was absolutely beautiful in Cozumel and it was actually much hotter than I expected. I will certainly continue to cruise with Royal but I will not cruise on Mariner again.

Overall great cruise. Staff was great, food not so much. CocoCay exceeded my expectations, RC did a great job putting this together. Would cruise to this destination again. Wash your hands often and try and social distance because I caught Covid on the cruise. Luckily I didn’t get symptoms until arriving at home so it didn’t ruin my trip!

Had a great time and looking forward to my next cruise.

Like I said before love Royal I am loyal to royal but this ship needs improvement and more activities and better taste on some food
