Review summary

We have cruised on another cruiseline, so that's my comparison. We were allowed to board a little early but we were never asked to check our luggage nor were we directed to an area to check it. We were all of a sudden on board and went to guest services. Here we encountered a very rude employee that didn't want to help. He said you'll need to carry it with you until your room is ready. I was thinking what, for three hours! We are a family if six with children abd I told him that's unacceptable. I asked to speak with a manager and then he said MAYBE I can help you and hold them here but you'll need to pick them up here. This was not a great way to start our cruise.

We always use the Porters, but if you don’t want to tip, I’m not sure where you would check luggage. I never thought about it. I don’t recall seeing another option.

Were you late arriving? 99.9% of the time you can not throw a rock without hitting 5 porters. This is a very unique situation. Tell us more so we can fully understand.

Wow! Sorry that happened but I have never heard of anyone not noticing the luggage drop off.

Wow, I have cruised out of Port Canaveral multiple times. It is impossible to miss the porters that are curbside. BTW, they are not Royal Caribbean employees. As far as the "rude" guest services staff, that is also a made-up story as they are there to cater to the guests. I'm assuming you were the one acting rude because of your mistake.

I'm surprised you never noticed the guy to drop off your bags this guy earns more money than the President I didn't tip him I don't like that type of gangster service.

I’m not sure how you missed the location to drop your luggage. There are usually porters waiting and almost begging you to drop it with them.
